Eye cover that can get hot or cold The plate is hard metal so it sits on top of your eyelid, there's a small cushion but it's not spaced like a 3D mask with eye socket cutout. To assure thermal transfer onto skin, the metal surface sits against the eyelids closed. If you don't like anything on top of your eyes, let alone a cold or hot metal, this mask is NOT for your. For cold it's nice to sit against the skin. For heat, I haven't tried to be comfortable especially near my eyes. The build quality is solid, and I love that it’s USB-C rechargeable. It also includes relaxing music and voice guidance, though the voice isn’t in English, which might be confusing for some. Unfortunately, the fit just didn’t work for me. The mask doesn’t sit close enough to my eyes to deliver the full benefit of the heat or cold therapy, and there’s very little adjustability to improve the fit.
