Fits and locks in
This was the only filter that fit my in- sink-erator water filter, tried 2 of the off brands and they would not turn and lock in. Read more
Works as advertised
My old one was so clogged up that after replacing it with this one the flow was so improved that I thought it wasn't placed properly. After flushing a few gallons through to get clear water the taste was really good just like the previous. There's no degradation in water quality over time but as expected if you have hard water or lots of sediment it will do its job and stop it all. Read more
Cleans Impurities in water
I use this filter regularly for my kitchen sink. The water tastes a little better because of the impurities it takes out. It's not a miracle worker. It's ok. Read more
Super easy to change this filter.
Wow, super easy to change out. I had this filter on my insinkerator faucet and had not changed it in years. I had a plumber coming out for something else so I ordered a new filter. He showed me how to change it in one minute. I just did that so I'm assuming the filtering part of the product will work just fine. The last one did. Read more

Works well. Minimal leakage during filter exchanges.
One of the problems with cartridge based filters is that companies often discontinue older models or “no name” companies go out of business. I had an expensive HEPA filter from a popular brand that no longer makes replacement filters, for example. With Insinkerator, I think the risk of this is much less. The same fit can be used with different tiers of filtration. The quick connect system works well with minimal leakage when exchanging filters. Obviously, in use, it doesn’t leak at all. Read more
