InSinkErator F-201R exceeds expectations
My plumber originally installed this Filtration System as the choice for an excellent filtration system at the right price. The filtration cartridge was to be easily installed and served maximum benefits to the refrigerator water supply. The original filter worded better than advertised. So too the replacement cartridge easily replaced the original cartridge. The replacement cartridge continues to provide the same benefit as the original. Further, the replacements' promised delivery date was half as long as originally quoted. Also, the price was lower than comparable sellers. I am totally satisfied with my plumber's recommendation, the performance of the original filter and the replacement filter. I would not hesitate to order these units again. Read more
No water leak
Worth the money. Can't test the filteration quality. Importantly, the water doesn't leak after installation. Great! Read more
Works fine
Initial comments: Arrived in good condition - 2 per box. Detached the old one and attached the new. Further input: You have to line up arrows that are white. So, if you are under a sink, it's hard to see the arrows. I recommend you take a marker and put a dot or dash on the filter and on the housing. Put an absorbent rag under the housing to catch the water that will spill out - not much, but has the potential to be messy if you aren't prepared. Be sure to run water through your filter for 3 full minutes to flush out stuff as per directions. Result: The water tasted cleaner immediately. I don't know how clean it really is, but it tastes a bit better. One last thought: I like clear ice cubes. I used to use a Pur filter spun on the fawcett directly. It produced clearer ice cube than this filtration system. I suspect the Pur filter filtered out more solids that hold onto oxygen. It's not a comment on the health of the water I am now drinking, but I just like clearer cubes. Hope this helps. Read more

Good Performance from a Marketplace Item
I purchased a set of F-201Rs from Amazon Marketplace, in "Like-New" condition. When they arrived, both filters came in an unsealed bag; one had evidence that it was previously installed as it had some scratches on the groves. Though I had my suspicions that I was sold a spent filter, I installed it anyway and flushed it per the instructions. The immediate result result was crystal clear water which tasted fresh and crisp, similar to the taste of bottled spring water. I'll periodically check for leaks and cracking in the body of the filter, but so far, this is a winner. Read more
