Worth the savings!
First things first, I HAVE CRAPPY WATER! Artesian well, 185 feet deep, lots of rotten egg smell sulfur, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) 1150 PPM. The water was corroding our silverware, plumbing fixtures, etc. I installed a whole house RO, needed a pre-filter with a high flow rate, the Pentek brand of this filter worked well. Unfortunately I was running thru them quickly, every 2-3 weeks, costly. So I tried these filters, they work fine for my purpose since I dispose of them more often than most water systems. They hold up fine, the RO draws 16 GPM, you can see the strain on the filter, works fine. Worth the savings! Read more
