It took a little getting used to but my dog finally "got it"! 😁 She now pounces on it, throws it and plays keep away with us. Surprisingly the cats like it too and will grab it, run and chase each other around the living room trying to keep it away from one another! Super fun for all and really durable!! I am so surprised at how well it has taken all of this abuse. Chewing and claws haven't caused any damage!! Great interactive toy! Read more

This is a motion activated toy, and fairly durable. My dog is 80 pounds and rough with toys, but so far so good! It’s small, adorable, good quality and fun for dogs or cats. Read more

Worked for about ten minutes and then it just stopped. The motor unit inside is much too large and stopped working altogether. The plush football is great however. So I took the motor unit out and the dog loves the football for hours of fetch. It is too bad about the motor because the movements were fun and had the dog very stimulated. Read more

This Gazoos Interactive Dog Toy (Football) is really not very interactive. This football has a hard ball on the inside that contains the mechanism that makes it move and create sounds. It makes sounds for about 25 seconds after you press a button. If my puppy does not press that button (through the football cover, in one specific location) then the football does nothing and becomes a chew toy just lying there. Even rolling the football around and playing with it, the button did not get activated. It only took about 5 mins for her to start to rip the Velcro off because it wasn’t doing any type of interaction. I had to take it away from her because she started chewing off the material and velcro - this is what my rating is based on, our experience proved this football as more of a chew toy than interactive toy. This is a review for: Interactive Dog Toy (Football), Motion Activated Bouncing Talking Pet Toy, Exercise and Entertainment for Dogs and Puppies I knew this football was going to make noise, but the pathetic whimpering sound I heard was a little unsettling. Even my dogs stopped playing and just stared at it, and then me, like they were wondering if the football was all right. I like the buzzing and bouncing, but I wish there was a way to turn off the noise. My dogs (Lab and Pittie) stopped playing with this after a few minutes and didn't go back to it until I removed the ball device. Now they're just playing with it like a stuffie. I would not buy this again. Read more

At first my pup had no idea what to do with this thing. It started bouncing and making noise outta nowhere and she just kinda stared at it like it was alive. But after a few minutes of cautious sniffing she got into it and now she keeps running over to it to try and make it go again. The motion sensor seems pretty sensitive which is nice. Just a little nudge and it starts bouncing again. Feels decently padded so it won’t break on the first slam, though I wouldn’t give it to a hardcore chewer. It’s a bit expensive for a novelty toy and it does eat batteries, but it’s been hilarious watching her try to “wrestle” with it. Worth it for the laughs. Read more

My golden loved it - but it didn't last long - with minutes, it was just the inner ball bouncing around and entertaining her as the football was torn to shreds lol Read more

I was really surprised by both how much this thing can move around on its own and by how loud it was for having such a small speaker/electrical part, it was pretty impressive. The toy is pretty well-made, although please note that the only thing keeping the plastic and metal mechanical part of it that makes it loud and bouncy is only contained inside the toy by a strip of velcro in the plushy football cover, so if you have a dog that likes to tear toys open and chew on the plastic stuff inside this probably is not safe for them. If you have a dog like mine though that's not a chewer or destroyer of toys and needs some enrichment, this thing is fantastic! He was completely enamored with it, and it gave me a solid hour or so of enrichment and play time that he was able to do entirely by himself. It even helped tucker him out so he would nap while I worked all afternoon! He dropped it down a flight of almost 20 stairs and it wasn't even phased, so it's pretty durable too. Read more
