Yes, it costs a bit more than the knock-offs—but after trying those, I’m done experimenting. The iSpring FC15B fits every time, no forcing, no leaks, no “is this seated correctly?” stress. That alone makes it worth the extra cost. Water quality is consistently great, and the carbon block does exactly what it’s supposed to do—noticeably better taste and odor reduction right away. It works flawlessly in my under-sink system and gives the peace of mind you want when it’s part of your whole-house setup. I’ve learned the hard way that saving a few dollars on off-brand filters usually leads to frustration or replacements. This one just works, installs cleanly, and performs as advertised. The Big Blue system works SO MUCH better than one we had before. The whole system is well built and easy to install. Best of all, the filters are great. We were missing a gasket on one of that came with the system. It just needed a gasket. I contacted customer service and was IMMEDIATELY sent a new CTO Carbon Block filter with both gaskets. Now, I will use the one that was missing a gasket and simply reuse one of the gaskets when I use the second one. That's what I call service with a smile! Read more
