I'm thoroughly impressed with this 61" Camera Tripod! The build quality is solid, and it's incredibly sturdy. I've used it with my Canon Rebel EOS and Nikon DSLR, and it performs flawlessly. The tripod is easy to set up and adjust, and the remote shutter release is a nice touch. I've also used it to take photos with my phone, and it works great. I love this thing. I have several tripods and while I make due I've always wished I could find something lighter to carry around. Enter this one and while I'd be willing to bet you could find more expensive ones that are lighter this thing exceeded my expectations. You can take off the monopod leg and get a real feel for how light most of it is with the majority of the weight being in the center section that joins it all together. It is made of sturdy aluminum and I don't mind a little weight where it is most important. The head feels nice with smooth movement in both rotation and the ball friction. The sweet spot in the range for the dials between full movement and locked down is not the biggest but you can get it dialed in. Up top you have a release that most people wouldn't call quick but the twist required to go from fully closed to fully open is less than half a turn so super fast and perhaps more reliable in the long term. That twist screw has a level too and while it's not something I'll probably ever use it's nice to see that town in in case you're running something tilter 90 degrees. What I really like is the rotation-friction locking on the lets. I have several other tripods with varying broken snap mechanisms just due to repeated use and stress. With these there's nothing constantly getting stressed and its a lot quieter too. Just make sure to have the fees all the way in or out because otherwise they do rattle. Lastly there is the fact that you can completely invert it so you can get super low it needed. I have to say this is my favorite tripod I've used and it's my go-to now. Read more
