This air conditioner works really well. I had it on for about 20 minutes and the temperature dropped around 20 degrees. It's not huge so it doesn't take up a large about of space. It also helped removed the humidity in the air, it's always so muggy near me. It was super easy to set up, I did it by myself in about 20 minutes, and half that time was just removing it from the box which is packed super well. The air conditioner really works. I got this for my 40 ft Country Coach motorhome rather than running my rooftop AC and it works very will. Just had to make an insert to go into the window first because the corners of the window are covered. On a 90deg day it keeps it at 72, I have to keep the temperature cooler because of the residential refrigerator that has never been turned off in 8 years plus it is quiet even on high. UPDATE: I really appreciate the seller's customer service. I think we got a defective unit. Customer service tried to help us resolve our issue and then allowed us to return the item. I absolutely regret buying this unit. It's advertised as being 10,000 BTUs, but in reality is only 6,000. Doesn't cool as well as our old 8,000 BTU unit. And this one leaks everywhere. We've woken up twice to our living room floor covered in water with the machine still running. The "water tank full" light never activated. Water leaks freely out of the bottom corner of the machine to the point that we've put a pan under it to catch the water. It's truly upsetting. Installation was easy and the noise level is decent, but I would steer clear of this unit. Read more
After shopping around for quite awhile, I eventually bought this air unit. Its exceeded my expectations, due to its price and functionality. This little thing kicks. Almost too much, to have near your bed or in a small space like me. I've debated moving it to the bottom floor, but dont want to swap it for the windows unit, in which I currently have downstairs. Its a little annoying to drain, as the plug is near the bottom of the unit, but I've drained it once since summer began (and I didnt really need to), so it seems to have a big tank inside. The humidifier works so well, that my fishbowl has to have water added to it, more so than when I even clean it lol. Def a great purchase. Well worth it in this summer heat. Its small, but a tad bulky due to the hose amd not actually being installed in the window. That's like the only downfall. Louisiana is very humid, cools well but have to empty about 1 gallon everyday and I only run it at night. Would love to know if you can run it on cool without the dehumidifier running. Customers service was not help. Read more

Got it all set up, vented it properly, it was blowing cold air, however, it did not cool off my room. I'm in here now sweating like crazy. I had to put on my swamp cooler and turn it off because I won't be able to sleep so hot. Very disappointed. UPDATE: I SET IT TO 70° and it finally cooled off the room. I live in an RV that is 8 x 35‘ which makes it a total of 280 ft.². This supposed 10,000 BTU unit that is supposed to cool up to 580 ft.² isn’t even getting out of the living room area with its cold air. My living room is 9‘6“ by 7‘6“ which makes it about 45 ft.² or so I don’t do math but there you are, the hose coming off the back is so hot that it is competing with the air conditioner for that 45 ft.² too cool it off. . I expected this unit to cool my entire house all the way up to my bedroom. But it is not. My bedroom is hot and as soon as I leave the kitchen area and walk up into the bathroom area, which is one step up, I can feel a temperature change of about 30° hotter. I will be buying insulation to wrap around the hose to knock down on the heat that is coming off the hose that is attached to the window. I do not recommend this air conditioner at 10,000 BTU. It is not efficient and it’s not doing its job and it is on 24 seven. I am very disappointed with this product, but I am not going to return it because it would be too much of a pain in the neck to return it and try to look for something better. My 5000 BTU air conditioner, which I just took out of my window cooled my house better than this does. And it’s fan aimed across the room instead of down the whole entire house.
