I’ve used other brands like GE and Whirlpool and I can’t tell the difference, you’re saving hundreds of dollars buying this unit instead. Where I live has been in a constant heatwave for the past 2 months and I’ve kept my unit on in my room nearly everyday and all day/night long. No issues at all. I love the small size, the coldness it blows out, the strength of the air coming out, the ease of installation, and the maneuverability of it. My wife suffers from periodic heat waves and this little bundle of freezing cold air conditioner is working very well for us. I love that it has casters to make it easy to move and I absolutely love that it's not that loud like some of the other reviews have mentioned. The remote is a definite plus to have, especially if you're nice and tucked in your bed. If I needed another portable AC unit, I would definitely purchase this again. Read more

We recently moved into an incredibly small apartment downtown which did not have A/C. This thing has been running nonstop for 4 days straight during a heatwave and has not faltered. We typically use it during the day and turn it off at night, again with zero issues. I would give it 5 stars, but I do have a small problem with how slow it is to start running. Easy to set up. Only thing I had to modify was the piece that covers the window. Had to saw off 1 inch. No biggy. It cools a 12ft by 12ft room very quickly. A little noisy, but the cooling makes up for it. It evaporates the condensation, so you don't need to drain it. It's great for a upstairs room where the temp is warmer than first floor. Read more

Don't bother purchasing this product. The screen stopped working and I was told to just use the remote then the whole unit went and I was told there is only 1 year warranty on it so too bad pretty much. I wouldn't bother wasting your money. Horrible customer service. I bought this for my elderly father with breathing problems and they didnt care that their product was poor quality. We bought this unit for our 23’ RV. Seems to blow cold air but cooled the space to only 81 deg. Very disappointed - thought 8000 BTU would be plenty for such a small space. However, it may be due to RV sitting in direct Florida sun and insulation, ofc, is pretty much non existent. May need a unit w/more BTUs. At any rate, too much hassle to return. Will re-sell and try to recoup most of the cost. Just be forewarned if wanting portable AC unit for RV. Read more

This air conditioner really does the job! We purchased it for our daughter's bedroom upstairs which is south-facing and gets a lot of sun. The installation was quick and easy and it cooled the room down very quickly! It does make a fair amount of noise but not bothersome or "rattley", just more like white noise.
