Keychron K2, hot-swap aluminum frame, with Gateron blues I got the blues because the brown one wasn't available at the time (had no idea it'd be restocked a week later. Oh well) and the reds were more expensive. I swapped them out for Kailh Speed Coppers. I didnt like the blues at all, but personal preference. This keyboard is excellent for typing. If you're into gaming, you may not like it. I haven't noticed any lag even on Bluetooth but according to RTings it's measured to be pretty high. You also don't have features like disabling the windows key or easy key remapping or macros. For work, though, it's awesome. Solid, good battery life (you can set it to never sleep automatically, default is sleep after 10 minutes and waking takes 5 seconds ish), no-fuss BT connection. Feels great to type on (I don't have a lot to compare it to), the keys don't rattle or ring a whole lot. The browns or reds should be quiet enough for most offices. One thing I was unpleasantly surprised by was the keycaps. I tried another keychron, with their stock gray almost blue-ish keycaps, and they felt great. I was expecting these to feel the same but they feel thinner and smoother. Not bad, but a little disappointing after feeling and expecting the other ones. Overall, you can't go wrong with this one. High quality and a fair price. Read more

I feel like I have gone thru so many keyboards since the wfh era started. Some good. Some really bad. Then this one .... this is my keyboard soulmate. The size, the LEDs, the look, the weight, the oh so buttery soft je-ne-sais-quoi feel of the buttons ... I effing love these buttons. Maybe its cause its been a whiles since my last mechanical one. Like they say, once you go mechanical you can never go back and apparently I have longed for a return and this keyboard delivers. 150 out of 10. I want to write a novel just to type more and then have AI fix it for me. As I hurtle out of the solar system riding 31 Atlas. Pefection! Read more

This keyboard is a nice upgrade to the non-swappable version. Better PBT caps (although feel a little more tough compared to the normal smooth plastic of version 1, it actually offers more dirability and better grip which i like). The feel and SOUND of the gateron brown switches is amazing, coming from the clicky blue switches. While I enjoyed the nice feedback and sound from the clicky switches I find the brown ones to be more comfortable for long use and more pleasant when gaming. Highly recommend, the build quality is excellent, support for ios with special keys and the RGB light schemes are so nice. One minor request would be if we could have a special software to customize rgb per key on windows, native from keychron. Read more

I LOVE this keyboard. Super sturdy, premium-feeling metal case. Great tactile response and beautiful sound with the brown cherry switches (I find it MUCH nicer than my previous keyboard with blue switches). Also, super easy to swap out the keycaps. The reason I bought this keyboard was because I bought cool keycaps I fell in love with. That said, the keycaps it comes with are very premium-feeling and look great. Overall, really excited to have this great new keyboard to type on. Can't recommend it enough! Read more

Great keyboard. I use a Mac for work (not my choice, but it is what it is). Figured I'd need a Mac specific keyboard and picked this up. Works great. Feels nice, good switches in it (I went with Gateron Browns). Printscreen button works so no more weird key combos for that, and all the media buttons work perfectly as expected. Very satisfied with this purchase. Read more

Been using the Keychron K2 for going on 3 years now and overall it is a well-built reliable keyboard with several compromising features that are going to make me search for a new keyboard when I get around to replacing. The materials are high-quality and typing is very responsive. The Brown switches are much more sensitive and thocky than I would have liked, but that's personal preference and they are hotswappable. The biggest deal breaker for me is the absolutely horrible Bluetooth range of the keyboard. I had purchased it so that I could transfer it around my apartment, but when you get a couple feet from your computer it is unable to maintain a stable signal. On top of this the battery life is quite poor requiring frequent charges. This results in my just leaving the keyboard plugged in at my desk, defeating the purpose of the original purchase. Another minor issue is that the RGB settings often reset. There has been no pattern to this that I have noticed, but often I will start my computer and the keyboard will have rebooted back to default. There are a lot of settings so cycling back to my preferred one is a nuisance to do as often as I have to. The keyboard is also quite thick. Even with both risers down it is a little higher than I would like. A wrist rest solves this alright, but again limits its portability. Read more
