Am a professional programmer, so keyboards everyday. Have only used 2 mechanical keyboards, so hard to generalize. Used a Filco Ninja TKL keyboard for last 15 years, which was great. Recently, when I got a new computers and decided to try the Keychron K6 HE keyboard, which is even better. 2 thumbs up. Read more

The PERFECT size and BEAUTIFUL in appearance. The build quality is good and it’s easy to connect wirelessly and via Bluetooth. Wired mode is the simplest. You just need to connect your keyboard cable, and you’re ready to go. I chose to use mine wired after testing both of the wireless connections. That is largely due to the fact that I have a furry pink spiral keyboard cable that I wanted to decorate my desk with it. Plus, it’s faster in wired mode. This keyboard doesn’t take up much space when compared to 75%, 85% and 100% keyboards. I have small hands and I’m vertically challenged. Needless to say, I prefer small keyboards. I would say 60% to 65% keyboards are my favorite. The switches on this are both cute and functional. The linear feel types beautifully. She is a thocky one and sounds pleasant to type on. Definitely an ASMR trigger keyboard. It is compatible with my pink MAC M2 computer and, also connected to my iPad 11 air no problem. Another great thing about the small footprint is, how easy it is to bring upstairs with me in my bedroom, versus down to my desk/office space. The side wooden look to this keyboard is aesthetically attractive, and the white color would match various décor looks. Overall, a wonderful option, I RECOMMEND. Read more

This is a 60% keyboard. How they call it 65% when it lacks tilde, delete, and insert keys I have no idea. The software to configure it is excellent, providing you are on Windows. A proper web-based configurator shouldn't care about operating systems, but I had to spin up a Windows VM with Chrome. In the VM Chrome, I could reassign keys to include the important ones, set up multi-keystroke macros, and set the depth of travel - the point in keypress when it triggers - plus other things I haven't played with, like having different events happen when pressing and releasing keys. When they make the config site work with any OS, I'll give 'em 4 stars. If they correct the description, they'll get 5. It's a very nice keyboard. Read more

Keychron delivers once again with this keyboard. It feels very sturdy, has a premium look thanks to the aluminum frame, and is convenient to use across different setups. The 65% layout makes it compact and space saving, but you need to make sure it has all the keys you rely on, since there is no numeric block and some keys are either removed or repositioned. Typing on it is a pleasure. The mechanical switches give a very affirmative click with each keystroke, which is excellent for gaming, coding, or office work. At the same time, that distinct sound may be distracting for people around you, so it is worth keeping in mind if you share a workspace. Overall, it is a practical, well built, and stylish keyboard. As long as the compact layout fits your needs, it works great for just about anything. Read more

The Keychron K6 HE is everything I wanted in a compact keyboard. The 65% layout saves space without sacrificing keys I actually use. Typing feels so smooth—those magnetic Hall Effect switches are next level. Fast, responsive, and fun to type on whether I’m working or gaming. Bluetooth works great across multiple devices, and battery life has been solid so far. Build quality feels premium, and the RGB lighting is super clean without being too flashy. I think with what your getting with this keyboard, it's the best bang-for-your-buck. As far as noise level is concerned, I really like the soft sound it emits instead of the clickity-clakity you wou'd get with tactile or mechanical switches. The only downside I've witness so far is the limited software - but many would see this as an advantage since it just works out-of-the-box and no bloatware. I wish it has more flexibility when it came to macros and rgb adjustments. Read more

I am so pleased to have this keyboard. The build quality on this is exquisite. I love the 65% layout; it saves a lot of desktop space. The keys are adjustable and programmable right from your browser after downloading the app. The battery life is excellent. This is a high-quality gaming keyboard. It is a little noisy, but that is expected. It has 22 RGB lighting schemes. Everything you need is included in the gorgeous packaging, making this a great value. Read more
