Great design- one of the only bars I found that was spaced perfectly for the trusses in my garage ceiling. This meant I could hit the framing on all four bolts without having to first attach a 2x8 to my ceiling (like I had to do for the other bar in my photo! ). This makes it super functional because it’s snug to the ceiling. We’ve hung rings and bands off of it with plenty of vertical space to move around. Great value for the money and I recommend it highly. It’s really helped me get some practice in on my Kipling pull ups between gym workouts. It’s super heavy duty- I feel like an elephant could hang on this thing and it wouldn’t move an inch! It’s actually just me and my kids so I guess that’s good. ;) It comes mostly assembled- you'll just have to attach the crossbar. This is a rock solid bar! It's got pretty versatile mounting heights, in the middle and work perfect in my garage. Very happy with this purchase, and I took over a year to decide between a couple of others but for the price, I think this is the best bet.. there's no knurling but it doesn't seem slippery either, and the the coating seems very durable. Easy to install, perfectly spaced for beams/studs in the ceiling with plenty of bolts to make sure that it’s plenty stable. The pull up bar itself slightly droops/moves when pulling up but I think I may just need to tighten the side nuts. Great price for the practicality and space saving design with multiple features. This came in a broken down box. The outside box looked fine but the product box had several tears and damage on it. Luckily, everything was still intact. However, mine had several scratches on it. Installation was somewhat difficult. The instructions were not great. It comes with 8 concrete anchors and 8 screws for a drywall install. I used the screws but studs were not present where I wanted to install my pull up bar so I went into the attic and added additional bracing to my rafters before installing this. It was a lot more work than I thought but in the end, everything turned out good. Once installed, the bar itself is pretty good. Its' sturdy and doesn't budge at all. It can be adjusted for height and works really well for my exercise corner. I did add some locktite to the bolts holding the bar up but I'm probably just paranoid. Read more
