The bar is heavy duty and provides exceptional value for the price. Pros: very sturdy, nice clean finish (no burrs or scratches), maximal hand-grip variations for such a simple design. Cons: package arrived a little banged up. The plastic end caps sustained some impact and were slightly deformed off-center. The rounded edges of the provided hardware look like strip city. This second part is only applicable if you have drywall. This bar isn’t advertised for drywall, and I’m sure they probably don’t recommend it. But I’ll provide a quick summary of my little DIY project if anyone is interested: I bolted the bar to a hardwood board with T-nuts threaded through the back side (like a rock climbing wall). The benefit of this is added strength and the ability to easily mount/ dismount the bar without having to back out of the studs each time. The holes are ~14.5” apart so mounting directly to 16” studs probably isn’t an option regardless. The dock cleat is just a redundant, yet visually pleasing way to anchor resistance bands and suspension straps. I plan to mount this to the wall with four GRK screws going into studs. Overall very satisfied with how this turned out. Read more

Very nice, but I would've used more metal going up and down. I'm 220 i want to jump up to grab this. It feels like it wants to pull out of the two by fours. Hopefully it doesn'!! Read more
This is a wall mounted pull up bar. You have to bolt it to the wall. We installed it over a door through the trim to the door frame. It is great that it has so many different hand holds. It came with sturdy installation hardware as well. It's very solid and seems to be built well. Read more

Tried other freestanding ones and they all felt a little wobbly. Got this one, used a board to go into 2x4s above the door, then installed the pullup bar. Very sturdy and works great. Read more
