It is a great pull up bar, it feels sturdy, firm and the height adjust works perfectly, the only reason i did not give it 5 stars on the install is because i had to drill it to a concrete ceiling and it was a nightmare to do so but that i assume would have been the same for any other bar out there. I was a little leery of buying something like this online and was about to install a chinup bar myself in the backyard, but when the steel pipe was WAY more expensive than this, I decided to give it a try. I'm impressed! This thing is really solid, with 4 lag bolt attachments and a very easy to adjust setup which is just right for what it is. Some reviewers thought it was a little scant on the install instructions, which it is, but really if you installed any hardware before, it's not difficult. Just make sure you do it with two people and make sure you find a ceiling joist -- all you need is a ratchet and if you have a hammer drill, all the better. Great value! Read more

These are heavy-duty and good pull-up bars. They are installed fairly easily on my ceiling and you can place them anywhere with a sturdy strong stud to start with. It held well and holds my weight well. It is a bit pricy though but for the quality and the heavy-duty material of the metal rods are great. It is easy to use and looks very stable and strong. It gives me a nice and comfy grip and it looks like these will last a while. Read more

This is a great pull up system for a very tall ceilings (13 FT). We would rather by more complex pull up bar with different grips, but they do not sell them because of the tall length. Installation was pretty straightforward, but we had to go to the hardware store to buy additional board to distribute the weight drill and screws. I really like this pull up bar and it is especially nice to have it be adjustable since I have a high ceiling in my garage. Definitely get a helper when installing. Even with help, we managed to get it slightly off center with the ceiling joists and one lag screw didn't make it in. With 7 in securely it has still been very secure. Read more
