This knife set with block is a total game changer! The knives are super sharp, well-balanced, and make prepping meals so much easier. I love the variety of blades included—there's one for every kitchen task. I cook and meal prep a lot and these knives are easy to hold and feel nice in my hand. Large very attractive knife set! The block is solid wood and heavy in a cool dark pewter color with padded slots, doesn’t shift around on the Counter at all. The knife steel is thick (I can’t bend it) and VERY sharp. I’ve tried out every knife and they all cut great, scissors work well too. Handles are a pretty pearly off white and comfortable to hold. The entire set looks great on my kitchen counter and includes just about every kind of knife you could possibly need. So far I’m loving this set a lot especially for the price. Read more
These are really nice knives! They are amazingly sharp, and they sharpen up very nicely! I love the wide variety of knives. It seems like there are many options definitely one for every job. They are beautifully weighted and sized their functionally very useful. However, I took away a star because I think they are overpriced. I don’t know what I expected for $180 but I just think they should have been closer to $100 or $120. They do sharpen well, but they did dull faster than I would have expected and once I resharpened one, it seemed like it needed to be done after each use. Decent knives, just not worth almost $200. The angle of the knife block makes it easy to remove the knives without running into the bottom of the upper cabinets however, it is a wider block, so it does have a larger footprint. I wound up moving the block to my island as it is my largest prep area and there is more counter top space. Fortunately it is a nice looking set and looks good on the open counter. I follow the instructions to handwash the knives after using so I have had no issues with them potentially rusting. The knives are sharp and I like their weight and the feel of the handles. Read more
