Item is well made and knives are sharp Read more
I really like these knives. I cook a lot of meals, and a good knife is something I use constantly. These knives are very sharp and well balanced. They feel comfortable and natural in my hand. I can cut and slice with ease. I do not feel any discomfort, even during longer prep sessions. The handle does not cause any strain or irritation. I have used them to cut and slice a variety of foods for months now. They have handled vegetables, meats, and bread without any issues. So far, they remain durable and reliable. I have not even needed to sharpen them yet, which says a lot about the edge retention. The block keeps everything organized and easy to access. It also looks neat on the counter. Overall, I am still very happy with the performance. They work well and continue to work consistently. This set has become a dependable part of my daily cooking routine. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I needed a set of knives for my new house and was excited to come across this one. I was expecting your typical run of the mill block of knives, but I was in for a big surprise. These are the nicest knives I've ever owned and possibly ever even come across. The thing that surprised me the most is how ridiculously sharp all of them are. It's actually kind-of scary how sharp they are and how well they cut- I would be extra careful with these knives and recommend them only for people who know their way around the kitchen because you definitely don't want to accidentally slice yourself with one of these. These feel like professional knives you'd see the chef using maybe at a hibachi restaurant. They are a good weight for slicing and dicing everything from vegetables to various meats. This is a set mostly for cooking and preparing food rather than eating with your dinner, because there isn't a set of steak knives with it- I suppose you could use one of the smaller knives if you had to, but there wouldn't be enough for guests, so you'll also need to invest in a regular set of steak knives for eating your meals. The set comes with everything you'd need- there are 3 very sharp regular knives in a variety of sizes. One of them is quite large and intimidating and another one is very small and perfect for quickly chopping vegetables, etc. Then there is another knife that is right in the middle. Then you get two serrated knives and a pair of very sharp scissors. The long stick-like utensil I originally thought was something like an ice pick ended up being a knife sharpener. When the knives get dull you slide the blade across the sharpener repeatedly and the knives should sharpen right up. They actually have a book with instructions on how to care for the knives and how to sharpen them if you need to. All in all, this is a fantastic set of high quality knives that work extremely well and slice and dice anything in my kitchen with ease. They have a substantial weight to them and seem very durable. These knives are very sharp and have a very professional look and feel. I think they would save a lot of time for someone who is in the kitchen cooking and preparing meals frequently. These knives arrived packaged in a large beautiful box with the knives separately packaged. There was also a small booklet of information about the knives and how to care for them. All of these things together make them an awesome gift for basically anyone who spends time cooking. 5 stars! Read more

My wife absolutely loves kitchenware that makes cooking easier. These knives are made of a strong, quality steel that makes cutting food simple. The knives are rust resistant, but obviously we make sure to properly dry them after each use. It feels good in the hand and doesn't cause any strain. The black handle gives the set a nice look and are fine for the price. Read more
I picked this up because I wanted a knife set that actually looked good sitting out on the counter instead of something purely utilitarian. As soon as I set it up, it fit right in with my kitchen decor and honestly elevated the whole space. The knives themselves are great to use. They’re sharp right out of the box and feel balanced in hand, whether I’m chopping vegetables or slicing meat. The handles feel solid and comfortable, and the whole set has a classy, almost sexy look to it that makes cooking feel a little more intentional instead of routine. In day to day use they’ve held their edge well and made prep work faster and cleaner. The block doesn’t take up excessive space, and everything feels like it belongs where it is instead of being crammed together. My only real complaint is that they aren’t dishwasher safe. I knew that going in, but it’s still a little annoying to hand wash every time, especially when you’re cleaning up after a bigger meal. That said, the performance and look make it worth the extra care for me. If you want a knife set that’s sharp, good looking, and feels like a step up from basic kitchen tools, this one has been a solid choice as long as you’re okay with hand washing. Read more
I haven’t had good knives in nearly ten years because my ex took them and I’ve made do with the cheap (but they have paisley designs and colored handles!) and somewhat functional knives. I’d forgotten what a nice thing it is to have knives that cut properly! They’re not quite up to par with the ones he took off with, but they’re 1/3 the price and for me, a weekend home cook who occasionally food preps during the week, too, these are very good knives and more than fit my needs. The knives are sharp and have no problems cutting through any of the vegetables I’ve thrown at them. (They also cut the vegetables I didn’t throw.) I’ve only cut boneless chicken and that was easy, too. They are nice looking knives and the block to store them in is okay if you like a more modern style. The set does come with a sharpening rod which is very easy to use. If you’ve never used one before, the included instructions explain how to use it. The instructions do say to hand wash the knives, not put them in the dishwasher, which is true of most knives. I’m very happy with these and would recommend them if looking for a good quality knife set but don’t want to break the bank. I’m going to be retiring my paisley set to the junk drawer! Read more
