My husband absolutely loves this set. It is now his favorite set for a personal and professional uses. It is comfortable to hold. It has a good weight and quality blade. It looks gorgeous and the ease of cutting is phenomenal. It is sharpen enough to slide through anything and should be handled appropriately. Although we prefer to hand wash ours, it has gone through the dishwasher once and is fine. We love the automatic sharpening feature on the block and will absolutely purchase more items from this particular manufacturer. Read more

Pretty but losing sharpness

They are ok . They are a pretty knife with the design and sharp but I do notice that with each use (I hand wash and dry and store back in the block) they don't seem as sharp as originally. So I'm not sure that they self sharpening device located in each individual knife holder is as effective as I hoped. I will observe for a few more weeks and repost my results. It's only been a couple weeks now. Hopefully they will remain sharp. If not I'll be hitting the bullet and purchasing a more expensive set. Read more
