Charging works well. The little ring that comes with it did not stick well to my case. I came off and stuck to the charger the first time I used it so I put it on the inside of the case. It worked ok but did not hold very surely so I bought a new case that was magnetic and that has worked great. Read more

Got this with high expectations per the reviews, after a week of kinda using it I am going to return it. All I want is a vent mounted MagSafe mount/charger. My last one lasted about a year worked good till the heat of being in the truck finally peeled the outer layer of the MagSafe area off exposing the internal parts making it unusable. The charging power of the old one was minimal at best but it always connected and worked. This one however, connects to my phone for 10 seconds then disconnects and repeats indefinitely till I remove the phone, I’m using the same old case that I had been using and one that is MagSafe has great magnetic grip and works with many other MagSafe mounts/chargers. I’m sure it would be better without a case on my phone but I do not roll that way. As this one is useless to me I have no choice but to return this one and replace it with something different.
