Aolid build and the barrel heats up super fasst and holds consistent heat. I love how im able to set the exact temperature!! The curling iron is BIG so I'd recommend wearing heat resistant gloves if you’re new to curling irons this size. It also might not be ideal to travel with but great to keep on my bathroom counter. Learning curve- This curling iron is heavy and a little bit awkward but once you get over the learning curve it does an amazing job The rod heats quickly You can pick your temperature. Pros: well made, high heat, straightens the he** out of your hair. I have naturally curly hair, will mostly air dry and let it wave and used the 2 inch curling iron to smooth everything out more like a straightener. I echo some of the reviews that it gets so hot it smells like your hair is burning. 🔥 I understand… obviously turn the heat setting down but I have thick, long hair and it straightened it like no other so I just let it do its thing. Cons: lmao it will NOT curl my hair… I’m so confused. Maybe I’ll try some heat protectant and hair spray before curling? I’ve never had a problem curling my hair. Is it because the temperature is too hot? Is the barrel too big? My hair is below my bust closer to my waist… and it won’t curl it… it makes no sense. I have short hair and this was the perfect size which is hard to find. I recived the curling iron and returned it the same day. The 'grip' on your hair is very poor, your hair comes out of the iron as you attempt to roll and heat. very poor design for short hair. maybe if you have extra thick hair it might work for you but the iron does not get hot enough even on the 420 setting. i DID WANT TO MENTION, THE SELLER IS VERY PLEASANT AND EASY TO WORK WITH. Product worked great and seemed to be of good quality but had a couple issues. #1. It's way too heavy to use one hand and keep control. As a result, I used my hand at the top where I should be able to touch but I couldn't which brings me to problem #2. The top was SO HOT it burned my fingers. The product came with a heat glove which was great but made everything more difficult since it didn't fit well and made gripping the hair difficult. Pros: did not pull my hair, did heat up quickly, and performed as expected. It feels like a good quality product. This is a high quality curling iron. It was packed well. It is solid and sturdy. The iron itself has a fold down stand to better support it when it is set down on the counter. It has a digital read out so you can see what temperature it is set to and see the progress as it is heating up. It heats in just a couple of minutes. It came with 2 black metal ‘section & set’ clips. Using them was a game changer in getting good curl results. There also are 2 black stretchy hair bands. Surprisingly, it came with a glove. At first, I was like, why? But then…Ah. To protect your other hand while styling. Good idea. The large barrel size is great for big curls, but it is a bit intimidating maneuvering it considering how hot it is. The glove lends a bit more confidence. I would recommend this curling iron.
