This yoga mat is huge! I got it for my wife who uses yoga mats daily for working out. Our 2 year old daughter loves to participate with my wife, but she tends to take up a good bit of real estate on my wife's mat (but doesn't want to use her own). So, having so much extra space on the mat really helps. Not only is it useful for having a +1 in your work out, but I'm a bigger guy and I do appreciate the extra space myself. And speaking of bigger people, this mat is really thick, so it is much more comfortable than other mats I have tried in the past. You would think with the extra thickness and extra area this mat would be hard to pack up and store, but it does come with an elastic strap that makes rolling it up and keeping it out the way pretty easy to use. The elastic strap also doubles as a carrying strap. Additionally the cute planet design doesn't hurt my wife's enjoyment of it as well.
