UPDATE: I like it so much, I got a 2nd one. The vent being elevated slightly off the ground works well to heat the whole body when seated in a chair or when in bed. The fan works and it's quiet. The filters are easy to clean. There is minor paint flaking of the white coating on the vent after 1 year. This is kinda expected because paint adheres to metal only so much. Not worried about it. I'm able to use Level 1 and 2 on the coldest of days (low 20s). When temps outdoors hit the teens and single digits, i might vary Level 3 with Level 2. For the thermostat feature it's saving so much money per year that it is an excellent value even if you only use it for 18 months you'd get your money back. It's very low ozone, low off-gassing, low dust. I run an air purifier a half day 2x week. With other brands I have to crack windows and doors for air. I do run an air purifier same room half day 2x week. It's much better than competitors. I love this heater. It is whisper quiet, gives off little ozone, and has an excellent thermostat. It's much better than *yson, remarkably better. The unit is tall which means you don't have to bend to the floor to change the temperature or see the temperature. It is able to circulate to adjacent room too. I kept my settings on 1 and 2 so far out of 4. I love that it's not heating too hard when it doesn't need to. I haven't tried the fan functions yet. The *yson fan feature in its combo unit basically does not work at all, so if this one does a low to moderate fan it is excelling in every way. Next year I am 100 percent replacing the more expensive one with another one of these. When it's 64 indoors and the *yson with clean filter is telling me that no heat is necessary unless I force on at a 70 room temp, the Lasko heater accurately picks up the room temp and produces very low heat to bring up to room temp. I do not have central air or heat in my mountain cabin. Sometimes temps drop into the single digits. The cabin is small, but this is the first heater that actually brings the temp up in a relatively short period of time. There is little noise from the unit. The timer works well. I have had zero issues with this heater. Not a waste of money. I recommend this heater. Heat output is more than I expected. Read more

I already have two of these and I'm about to buy a third. This unit has good air flow during hot weather and heats great during cold weather. In fan mode, they are easy to sleep near, even when on high. The sound is low and even, almost like white noise. I like having both functions in one unit so I don't have to put away fans in cold weather and put away heaters in hot weather. I can leave the single units set up all year long in the spaces where I need them. If you have cats or dogs, be prepared to clean out the reusable whatable filter screens regularly. They are located on both sides of the base. I live in the southwest USA where winters are mild and summers are brutally hot. Read more

This oscillating hybrid fan and space heater is perfect for heating or cooling certain areas in my home when I don’t want to turn on the central AC or heat. It works really well in the room it’s placed in, and the oscillation helps circulate the air evenly. Just keep in mind that it’s best for small to medium rooms—it doesn’t handle large spaces. Overall, a convenient and energy-saving option! Read more

I think this is a great heating fan, and quite useful when you need something close by to heat up, Vs turning up the heat on the entire house (inconvenient to others, and increases utility bills). Overall I will recommend. What I liked: - Fan heats up in just a few seconds - Oscillating fan and remote work well - Heating has multiple levels, I generally use highest though. - Not too loud - Runs really long time, and no issues of overheating etc. - Feel pretty safe with kids around. The fan has two sides, one for warm air, the other for cool air. The one for warm air, has a solid grill like cover, and kids wont be able to get their fingers in (or put anything inside). I feel safe with kids around this. What I didn't like as much: - After about 5 feets, you will feel the wind, but not the heating as much. So the wind will feel cold (if the room temp is cold). So the fan needs to be close to keep you warm (which works pretty well). You should understand that this will not heat an entire room (or will take an awfully long time to do so, just like any other heating fan). I use this in a large room which doesn't heat up as good, so maybe it may work better in a smaller room. Read more

I live in an RV which means space is limited. I use to have to swap out fans and heaters has the seasons change. I prefer using electric heaters during the winter and save my butane for emergencies. Back the beginning of winter 2021 I was looking to replace one of my heaters because it had died. I also had another one which I had a feeling was on its last leg. I found one of these at the local store and though it was more expensive then what I wanted to spend I decided to get one because I knew I would be needing new fans come summer. It worked so well that I tighten the belt and splurged on a 2nd. They, along with a single Lasko mini tower heater I had been working well. At the beginning of the winter 2023 season I loaned out the mini tower has it started to get cold to a friend which has been struggling and who needed a new heater. Knowing I would need another one myself, I search on Amazon and found this, a match for my other two save for color. (They are black.) I decided to grab it and have not been disappointed. I love the fact they have filters which help protect the fans and heating element. I also love the fact that no matter what heat setting you choose, it has 4, you can still set a temperature has well. Most of the heaters I have had before would only let you set a temperature if you are using the highest setting. If you use any other, like the lowest setting, its continuously puts out heat, leaving me to having to turn the heater on and off because it would always get too hot. The only thing that would make them better if I could turn them on and off or change the settings via Alexa. Read more
