I'm in love with this Curling Iron this is definitely my favorite! I bought this wand in 2010! it still works like new. I'm not joking I've used it tooo many times and I've even discovered diferent ways of using it to create diferent kind of curls. This curling iron definetly need some tutoring if your not used to clipless wands, but that can be resolved really easy, YouTube! That's how I learned, and how I keep discovering new ways of using it. The people saying that is hard to use, is really not! I think its easier than the ones that have a clip is just getting used to it. Just like others say, it does get pretty hot! So you have to be careful with that. I've probably burned my forehead once and one of my fingers about 3 times while using it, that's why you have to be careful and I suggest to ALWAYS use the protetive glove and make sure you don't lose it. The quality of this wand is amazing, you can create diferent kinds of curls, the loose beachy kind, or the taylor swift tight ones, & the best part of it, is that they last pretty long and I'm I have the type of straight hair that doesn't hold curls that much, but this one DOES make the trick to hold them. I think that's the main reason I used it that much, you can go party all night, sweat alot and still have gorgeous hair. This is a must for the ladies. During the time I've had it, about 5 other friends have ordered it, just because they have seen my hair, and they always get surprinse of how much this cost. I have also order other different sizes of wands from Le Angelique because of this, but out of all this the one I use the most. Read more

I love this curling wand. I purchased it on 06/2011 and it came quickly and I started using it immediately. It came with a glove which protects my hands perfectly, even when I hold the hair on to the wand itself. I don't even have to curl all my hair since the curls cover any straight hair that I miss. I get tons of complements all the time when I curl my hair with the wand. It heats up quickly and gets very hot. I don't put mouse, hair spray, or anything in my hair and it stays all day. When I wake up after sleeping on the curls, it still is curly without any product! I'm going to buy more wands for my sisters, nieces, and mom as Christmas gifts. I LOVE IT! The best thing about it is that the wand is skinny at the top and wider at the bottom, making it so your hair does not slip off. My hair fine and is shoulder length, just so you know. If you are looking for a curling wand, this is the one to chose. It's inexpensive, ships quickly, and works great. Read more

This is a great curling iron! I have the 25mm Le Angelique curling iron in pink (the best curling iron I have ever owned) and wanted a tapered barrel to make a tighter curl on the bottom to hold the curl longer. I bought a similar tapered curling iron from the drugstore and found that my hair slipped down the barrel and it was really hard to curl it the way I wanted too. After reading the reviews on this product and already owning an LA curling iron, I thought I'd give it a try. I am really glad I did because I absolutely love this iron. My hair doesn't slip down this barrel and stays exactly where I put it. I can curl my entire head in less than 15 minutes and the curls last into the second day with only a minor touch up needed in the front! It comes packaged really nice in a reusable storage box with two clips to separate your curled and un-curled hair and a heat resistant glove (which I find useless but still nice to include). When you first pick up the iron, it feels really light compared to most traditional curling irons which may makes it feel cheap to the touch but it is anything but! It is light, easy to handle, heats up very fast and produces excellent results in no time. My only word of caution would be to practice curling your hair slowly to be careful not to burn yourself as this iron is HOT. I burned myself alot at first until I learned where to position my hand as I was curling my hair. I'd say to use the glove but I find I have a better grip on the end of my hair without it and have now learned how to prevent burning my hand. I would 100% recommend this curling iron to anyone in the market for one. Read more

I have super thick hair and tried out the Conair You Curl clipless curling iron which worked OK, BUT since my hair is really long, the tapered barrel did not have enough real estate for all of my hair. A friend of mine had recommended the Le Angelique Curling Iron and said that it would likely work better on my hair since the barrel was the same diameter. So far I have used it about a dozen times and am pleased with the results. The large barrel gives me big wavy curls (think beachy waves). If you are looking for tighter curls, this is not the iron for you. Since I already had experience with a clipless iron, i did not find this difficult to use. PROS -non-tapered barrel is great for long hair. I was able to curl my hair without running out of room on the barrel. -comes with a glove to proect your hand (I have yet to use it) -heats up quickly CONS -NO temperature control. Since my hair is on the thicker/coarser end of the hair spectrum, I typically have to turn the temperature up all the way on hair styling implements. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a clipless iron to create big, bouncy, beachy waves. Read more

I received this item promptly and it was packaged quite nicely. The item itself curls hair very well, I was pleased when I tested it out in the front of my head. The only problem is that when you try to do the back of your hair, it is very easy to burn yourself-even while wearing the glove. It seems great if you were to be doing someone else's hair all of the time, but I want an item that I can use on myself. Bottom line: I would recommend only for those that are doing others hair.
