I have one other smart plug adaptor, also Sylvania, that's compatible with Smart Life, and works with Google Home out of the box. These don't do that, unfortunately. I did manage to get the Smart Life app working with them at one point, but I've forgotten how, and I honestly wish I didn't have to install any of these third-party apps with dubious privacy. The dimensions of these do allow me to plug two of them into a standard US wall outlet, though, which is nice. Read more

Originally I bought these on a clearance at Menards. Only one remained so I bought along with Sylvania smart color bulbs. The Sylvania wifi app was easy to use and link with Alexa. I have a few echo shows of various size placed around the house and I prefer to turn lights on and off and other items that don't use a standard bulb as I move from room to room or floor to floor. No so many steps of reaching over or around furniture as I am starting to feel my 75 years. I am amazed with technology and how fast it changes. With my Echo Shows, I can easily check and see if I have missed anything and check on my Blink cameras and I love that I can hear notifications as well. Maybe that was too long but I do read other reviews and it helps me make an informed decision to buy or not. The smart plugs and bulbs by Sylvania met my expectations. Read more

3 out of 4 works fine. The 4th one keeps going offline all the time. I have to remove the plug in the app, then turn the plug on and "install" it again. I have used these for just about a week now and have already had to do this twice (and no, it's not an internet issue, everything else works flawlessy on that wifi).
