The LEGO Star Wars 2023 Advent Calendar is absolutely perfect for the holiday season! Every day comes with a fun mini build or character, and it makes counting down to Christmas so much more exciting. We bought these for a number of years for are kids and obviously way funner than the bland chocolate advent calendars. It’s a bit pricey but always worth it. Never any issues with quality whatsoever. Great gift for a Star Wars LEGO fan. Read more

My son loved this advent calendar. Each day was filled with a cool surprise. The pieces were easy for him to put together on his own, he is 7 years old. If you have a Star Wars fan, this will not disappoint. The actual box is sturdy but yet easy to get into each day for the child. Read more

This is our 12th year with the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar. One for each year my oldest has been alive. Our history is fraught with arguments and danger. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R10ODZ26CKWQGN/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B09YVV9DB3. #1 is going to be 13 in a few months and that pre-teenager is starting to show. There is an indifference in her approach to the advent calendar fight this year. During an argument over cleaning her room she suddenly yelled “I don’t even like Star Wars!”. I thought to myself it was a heat of the moment comment and she didn’t mean it. But then a few days later in the middle of a county fair she screamed “the new movies are better!” I didn’t remember this right away when I woke up in the ER, but as it came back to me, she knew that her advent calendar negotiation power was gone. In the immediate I thought that I had stroked out because of #1. Turns out #3 heard me make a quip about how “none of them kids are getting turns this year” and threw a beer can at my head. He had hopped the table at the beer stand, grabbed one and chucked it. Turns out the vendors could have stopped him, but he proclaimed to them “I gots to stand up for my honor” and they let him go for it. I mean, it was a good throw. Right in the temple. The math skills of #2 have gotten supremely better. She thinks maybe she has not been getting the number of turns she is supposed to, so she finally buckled down and started mathing. When I yelled “why can’t you all be happy with three turns each” she immediately screamed “that’s not how math works!” There is still something sinister in her cute little smile, I just have not deciphered It yet. I think the older three have been mostly quiet because of #4, who is now 5 years old. We were called in front of the HOA because he had approached the HOA president to discuss an “Advent Calendar Addendum” whereby “the youngest living human being within the dwelling shall have final say over all advent calendar rules.” Why the “youngest human being?” He was taking into account the age of the dog, who is younger than him. When the HOA president laughed and tussled his hair #4 proceeded to try to blackmail him. I mean, had the dirt #4 had on that guy not been true it would have been the cutest thing with the crayon drawings and threats to tell his whole family. The new president made it very clear that there will be no addendum. That Jack Nicholson look from last year was overtly present as we heard “we’ll see about that.” I think power has shifted amongst the kids and #4 is taking control. That is the only reason I can think of that they are so quiet this year. No demands yet. It’s a little scary, but I spent $8,000 training the new dog to be nice to them unless/until I say so. There is an Ewok and a Palpatine with a sweater this year and I can’t imagine they are going to stay this way. Read more

Lego Star Wars Advent Calendars are always great; this one is no exception. My 74-year-old brain always has some trouble assembling these simple kits. That's what YouTube videos are for. It's excellent fun assembling one each day. If you are new to these, the box forms a display surface. The back of the display surface has doors for each day of the month with a small Lego kit inside. It's a fun diversion to build one small kit a day. After Christmas, the kit is given to a neighbor's child to have fun with. Me, I'm still putting the Lego Titanic together. Another great kit! Happy holidays to all. Read more

Dec 31, 2023 - LEGO Star Wars 2023 Advent Calendar 75366 I've bought many different advent calendars over the years for the grandkids. Usually the Lego ones have had some rather unique and neat items. This years, however, feels rather subpar and uninspiring. Not one of the pieces stands out as excellent, and for the price, I could have bought them another nice set of LEGO. And generally, they got bored with this one, where is in times past, they were super excited to open it up daily. But that was not the case this year. Overall thoughts: Next year, I will look for a different advent calendar. Read more
