Fantastic little tabletop tripod that is robust enough to handle even large full frame set ups (so long as you're careful about balance). While the original design (MT-02) is obviously another Leofoto plagiarism off the RRS TFA-01, Leofoto has made some design improvements with the MT-03, and it is very well machined. Very useful, and well made little product so long as you can get past the fact they are so willing to copy the designs of other companies. Read more
I have a travel tripod, but find myself sometimes wanting something even smaller and lighter. Walking around the city or hiking in the woods. This kit does the job. It folds down small and is pretty sturdy. In its case, it looks like a tiny bike seat and is easy to stash in a coat or day bag. For reference this has no problem supporting a Sony A7r IV and 24-70mm lens. You'll probably want to spread the legs to better support front-heavy lenses though. It also works well with the Peak Design plate for their capture system. So, you don't need to swap plates if you want to go between their travel tripod and belt/backpack mounts. Read more
The tripod is sturdy and has an advantage over other small tripod because the legs lock into different positions, and require unlocking with a button to widen. Other small tripods require a screw. But, panoramic shooters be warned. If you are using the included head to use the nodal point, you have to loosen the entire ball head to pan left and right, thus losing your level in the process. The ball head unlocks first, then the pan unlocks second when you loosen the lever. Read more
Likely the best tabletop tripod on the market right now. I use this mainly out in the wildnerness with a point and shoot, and it works perfectly. Easily adaptable to a variety of surfaces, and with the ball joint, can even use for astrophotography. Read more

I wanted a small tripod that fits in the pocket for travel. This one works well. I mounted a Ulanzi Claw on the tripod to allow a quick connect of the ball head (Leofoto MBH-19). With the Claw base, the tripod still fits in the bag. I also use a Ulanzi Claw to attach the camera (Olympus E-P7) this way the camera can be directly attach to the tripod or to the ballhead. Total weight of the tripod and ballhead set is 345g. Tripod only is 200g. Read more
