Very nice TV. I bought this as a secondary monitor option for 4K since the 32" options were just about the same price and offering way less features. For the price, this is a really great TV for gaming especially. It has all the resolution support you can think of and can even do 4K@120Hz which is a really nice plus but not many games I can push that many frames with yet but the option is there. FreeSync/VRR Support is also a big plus down the line, it makes for a good futureproof buy and for preparation for the next gen consoles if anyone's considering to buy this for that. Now it is a IPS(ADS) panel so keep that in mind, it won't have the best deep blacks or black uniformity in general especially compared to an OLED, but from my standpoint I really didn't notice any crazy flash lighting or IPS glow that would bother me enough to mark bad reviews on the TV in a dark room. I did calibrate my settings and I usually put my brightness not too high for most things so maybe that's a factor. Primarily I bought this as a PC/Gaming monitor so the viewing angels with a IPS panel is a must for this purchase. From a casual use though, movies, shows, and even dark room gaming it performs excellent in my opinion. The colors on this TV are fantastic, they pop out much better than my current IPS monitor and overall it provides a very crisp picture, especially when it comes to art and some editing that I do. Overall I've been very satisfied with this TV, has all the bells and whistles I need for a PC/Gaming Monitor while providing a very immersive experience with entertainment. Speakers on this TV are actually impressive out of the box, you can also tinker with Dolby Atmos and other equalizer settings depending how you want it to sound. Bass is punchy but not boomy so if you want that boomy bass then opt for a soundbar; otherwise these speakers are probably good enough for most people. The magic remote is probably the best controller I have used for a TV, I think most TVs should go for this type of controller in the future. I've had this for about a month now and haven't been disappointed turning it on every day. Highly recommend this TV, LG really outdid itself with the features on this one. Read more

So far so good. This LG 65' 4k 120hz (native) TV works great... exceeded in fact my expectations. There was a bit of learning curve adjusting to the the smart features of the TV and getting the settings right like color, brightness, balance, backlight etc... but nothing that the average joe (like myself) couldn't handle. I run the tv cable into my new 4k ready Sony 5 channel amp/receiver and then from that, run-out an HDMI cable IN to the TV's ARC connection (HDMI 3). The smart feature of the TV at first would play the sound out through the TV's "oh just ok" speakers and not run it through my receiver and out to my 5 speakers and subwoofer. But it just took some adjustments to address that... Also, getting picture settings right took some time, that's all. One thing I fortunately caught that you might run into if you buy this or any other 4k TV. To upgrade to 4k, even after buying your 4k TV, you're going to have to make sure that your cable box also can handle 4k. If I had not specifically asked my comcast provider for a 4k tv box, I never could have streamed it thru the cable to my TV. The employee at their store said that unless I explicitly asked for it, they'd have given me a standard box not equipped for 4k "because they were in short supply of them". Also, you'll need to make sure your internet connection and router can handle speeds needed to stream 4k so you can access what's provided on Amazon, youtube, neflix etc. And also older ROKU or Amazon firebox's other extremal streaming devices you may have and want to use.... they also may not be able to handle 4k. And this is where the TV's internal internet connection and streaming abilities really came in handy..so I cold ditch the external device. The TV can connect directly to the internet, and use it's internal 4k streaming features, pick up and stream directly Amazon and Netflix and all other streaming services through the TV so again, no need for the external firestick or ROKU or whatever..and it works great. I did have some trouble at first running the sound (from shows/movies streamed through the TV) back out the ARC HDMI connection to my receiver and out to my sound system but eventually figured that out too.... At first the smart features only wanted to play the sound out through the TV's speakers but again I eventually figured out how to override and run the sound through my speaker system. So now I can access 4k shows/movies either available that can be streamed to me thru TV via internet and/or a fewer number that come to me through Comcast Cable stations i subscribe to. And wow.....the 4k experience with top-end sound run through my speakers - it's a wow.... And this TV carries it's part of the load more than admirably. Read more
