This is one of the best gadgets I've bought in years. Get one! Now some cool details that neither the seller nor other reviewers will tell you: Yes, it defogs flawlessly in about a minute. Yes, the light is nice and bright, adjustable for both three color temperatures and brightness. BUT... 1) This thing comes with an ugly, clunky "shelf" that barely holds a can of shave gel sideways (effectively jamming it in your face) and two razor slots, neither of which can even accommodate a Gillette Fusion Power razor. If you have a shower caddy, the "shelf" is both superfluous and ugly. AND... it comes with two mounting options, both of which are pretty awful: 1) You can use permanent adhesive mounting that will likely destroy your shower if this thing ever dies or you even change your mind; and 2) two SCREWS which will totally destroy whatever surface you mount it to! SO... Take a look at my photos! Because 1) I easily sawed off the silly hanging-down "shelf" thing; and you can't see that I made any mods, once the mirror is hung, because the mirror itself hides what I'd cut off. And 2) even better, you can easily mount the base plate using waterproof 3M Command Strips (the special "bath and shower" versions), which you can get, cheap, right here on Amazon! They're both strong, and REMOVABLE. This results in the best-of-everything! A brilliant, beautifully-lit, self-defogging mirror that looks gorgeous and doesn't permanently mar or destroy your shower! Yes, you're welcome! BTW I'm an official Vine Voice reviewer, but I used my own hard-earned money to buy this product. And zero regrets; it is awesome! And with the two mods described above, it's even better! Enjoy! UPDATE 3/24/24: After about a month of use, every now and then this thing stumbles to defog. Specifically, there will be a slight "dead spot" right in the middle of the mirror, where fog starts to build up after the initial defogging, even on a full battery charge. Powering the thing off and starting it back up seems to help, but I'm disappointed to discover this issue after only a month. I'll update this review again in case it gets better, or worse. 2ND UPDATE 7/20/24: I'm happy to report that I haven't had the thing flub on me as I'd described above, since I wrote that update. The media could not be loaded. **EDIT: update at the end I like to shave when I shower and this light has made it super easy and fun to get the job done. I like to take hot showers so it takes about a minute or two for the mirror to fully defog but once it’s defogged, it’s easy to maintain. The light is very bright and makes it easy to see any parts of my face I may have missed while washing or shaving. It is a really nice size for a shower mirror, and I am pleased with the battery life. I bought two of these so I can just switch them out whenever one is dead and that has saved me a lot of time. The batteries last about two weeks and I like that I don’t have to worry about not being able to shave in the shower. This item is very functional. I really like that it also holds the shaving cream and your razor and that you can also hang other shower stuff on it. The adhesive is super strong so I trust that it will hold the mirror and all of my things without crashing to the floor. When working with the adhesives please make sure to properly wipe down the area you’re going to be sticking it on with alcohol. Make sure to let it dry too!!! Overall, I’m very satisfied with this anti-fog mirror. It is a little on the pricier side, but for the quality and convenience. It makes my shower experience so much better. Sorry I didn’t put a video of the mirror doing the actual anti-fog action but if you trust me, just know that it works! ** so, I still love this mirror but the adhesive sucks especially if you live somewhere that is hot and humid. The heat in Los Angeles has made a lot of adhesive stop working, and my mirror fell victim to it. As you could see in the picture, the adhesive became rubbery, and my mirror fell off. Thankfully, the mirror survived just be cautious. If you live somewhere that is hot and humid you may want to use a waterproof command strip instead of the adhesive it comes with. Read more
Only had it for a couple of weeks, but love it so far. Have not had to charge it yet. The heating feature is amazing - just push a button and the fog goes away. It automatically shuts off after 10 minutes to save the battery which is great because I was concerned about forgetting to turn it off. The light is almost overkill, but works great and removes shadows even though we have a well lit shower already. Can’t speak to the durability yet, but very happy so far. Even if I only get a year out of this thing I will consider it worth the money. This is way better than the OXO one that you fill with water I had before. Read more
Love this mirror! Git it for hubby to shave in the shower. It heats up fast to clear the fog and has 3 led light settings. Holds 2 razors. The adhesive backing is strong and so far holds up perfectly! Read more
