So, the color is not quite as pictured, being a more heather-like grey color than the homogeneous darker color in the pictures. But, having noted that, the vest is beautifully made with quality materials, flawless stitching throughout, and easy-to-operate zippers on well-placed pockets and the vest's zippered closures. My husband likes to piddle outside all year around. Fortunately, in Florida it rarely gets super cold, but it does get cool enough to require more than a long-sleeved shirt. This vest is perfect - enough to keep his core comfortable without sleeves to get caught up in whatever he's working on. It's warm without being too much, enough to stay cozy without sweating. The handy zippered pockets keep things like keys and phones safe from falling out. I ordered an XL according to the size chart. It fits snugly but is close to being too tight. He's okay with that since it means loose fabric isn't flopping about getting in the way, but I just wanted to mention this. As soon as I put on this vest, I exclaimed to my wife how warm it felt, especially compared to the fleece jacket I had just taken off. It is very well constructed, with deep hand-warmer pockets and a zip breast pocket that will hold a cellphone, though maybe some of the "max" models may be a tight fit. there are also two deep pockets inside the vest, one on each side, and a hanging loop. I am 6'3" and 250 pounds - the XXL size fit me perfectly, with a great length. Normally I buy shirts in an XL size but for outerwear I find 2X works better. My wife thought it was good enough that she asked if there was a women's model (there doesn't seem to be at this time, but it also appears that this is a new model as it doesn't appear on the brand's page.)
