The initial factory seasoning is alright but not amazing - use some extra oil in the beginning until you get a nice sheen after some use. The art on the backside is surprisingly detailed. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves sugar skulls and I am thinking this will end up the wall and not used. The only downside is that there was a divot taken out of the side of the skillet. I am thinking this was done during manufacturing. Being it will more than likely be wall art I am not going to bug about it to much. Read more
