I have way too much cast iron. A nesting set of Griswolds, Lodge, and others. But when the whole family shows up I didn’t have a big enough cast iron pan to feed everyone. Which prompted me to look for a bigger cast iron pan. OMG, this pan is huge and I love it. It came pre-seasoned but I spent many days adding to the base seasoning to make it better. That just me and my neurotic nature with all of my cast iron. I’ve gotten it to the point where eggs float over the surface. It’s big enough to use as a griddle on your cook top. It’s awesome. This pan has replaced a pan and a pot. What I used to put in my all-in-one appliance to cook, I now take my time and use this pan. It is wonderful and I love the fact it has a glass lid. I will be purchasing another item from this company. Read more

Got this for a relative off his wish list. He is pretty much sold on cast iron cookware these days. This is the second pan/pot we've purchased for him, and he has others that he uses for home and camp cooking.
