It is very compact. It is extremely easy to use.. It can be seen easily. But I would prefer a more white back ground. You would be able to see it better from a distance. Everything as stated works very well. It uses two AAA batteries. How long before they need to be replace is unknown. It does have a button that provides very good backlight. This last only a few seconds. As far as I can tell by comparison the time, date, and temperature are accurate There are two alarm settings. The louder alarm is better. The alarm is veery easy to set as well as other items for this clock. The case will easlily do the job. When this clock is closed, it is slim and compact. It does deserve a 5 star ratiing. Read more

This little travel alarm clock is very handy. The screen is clear and easy to read, and the size is perfect for packing in a bag or keeping on a nightstand. The buttons are simple, and setting the alarm is quick. I love that it has a lower alarm volume option. It’s light, reliable, and does exactly what I need when I’m on the go. Slim design and the perfect size for my small bedside table. Crystal clear display and very easy to set and use. Also comes with batteries and seems to keep accurate time so far. I knocked a star off the rating because the temperature feature seems to only show the room temp instead of the actual outdoor temp and the volume choices are too limited but, otherwise, it's a nice clock. This is a digital travel clock, however, it uses two penlight batteries, and has a large display, so it isn't as tiny as some. On the other hand, and one reason that I got it is that the penlight batteries are easy to handle, available everywhere, and last quite a long time. The batteries last me about a year. Tiny clocks with tiny batteries aren't always the best for travel. The clock has a flip cover, which doubles as a stand; large easily read digits for the time; and smaller digits for the date; and the temperature. The time digits are large and easily read, however the remaining information is within a smaller space. It has a very good backlight that is ONLY on when the button is pushed, the normal mode is NO backlight. The alarm will wake most people. If you travel across time zones, having the date can be very useful. I also found the temperature display is surprisingly useful. Setting the clock uses the current convention of multiple function buttons that use long, or short pushes to perform a function. The instructions are clear, and I suggest that you keep them in your travel items if you need to refer to it. I have had this for a few years, and had to get a new one when I gave mine to a host who now uses it. This clock performs as it claims, and has been trouble free. I have a battery powered alarm clock I like, but I wanted to find something smaller and more portable and with covered buttons so they didn't get pushed in my bag. I'm giving this 3 stars because this IS a decent alarm clock, middle of the road. But I returned it because of 3 issues I had with it: - The alarm beeps twice when you set an alarm. So if you're turning the alarm on before going to sleep, it'll beep after you pick the time you need. So if anyone else is in the room and you don't want to disturb them, you need to leave the room to set the alarm. Maybe not an issue for people who will set it once and have it go off the same time every day. - My existing alarm clock starts with a slower beep and then increases in speed every 5-10 seconds or so. I didn't realize how much I loved this until I tried this new alarm clock and felt like the beeping was SO aggressive and jarring. Great if that's what you're looking for! But not a good fit for me. - I usually snooze my alarm a few times, and on this alarm clock, you have to hit the far right button to snooze the alarm, and pushing any other button will turn the alarm off for the day. I feel like I personally am likely to hit the wrong button while I'm half awake and accidentally turn the alarm off instead of snoozing it, which will defeat the purpose and make me oversleep. Again, may not be a problem for other people, but it made this alarm clock a bad fit for me. I wanted to love this, and it's a cute color and very nice small size. I have ordered other battery operated clocks and this is the best one I've tried. It is a great size, easy to program with the buttons on the front. Easy to read plus lists the current date and temperature. I liked it so much, I ordered a second one. It's great to have when the electricity goes out. Read more
