After suffering - and overcoming - plantar fasciitis a few years ago, I am very particular about my shoes. I normally replace the inserts immediately with WalkHero inserts as nearly every shoe I get has awful inserts. Happily, these are an exception. Not only does it come with good inserts and design to properly support my instep, the provided insoles also have a deep enough heel cup to prevent your foot from rolling around. The 9 Wide I got works great, fit just like I want them to. I really like the fact that the sole has spring, but is not so soft as to be sloppy on the concrete I spend my days walking on. I got the white pair, mostly because my wife thinks my old K-Swiss white shoes are looking a little dated. I do like the transition from grey to white from heel to insole, very nice! The outside sole is great, did well in the concrete floor in the lobby as the janitor was mopping: no slide! I can’t get comfortable with the slide in part though: I feel wearing them in that fashion would quickly rub the heel fabric down, but not subtracting anything from the shoe for it as it’s a personal preference. I’ve never had slip-ins before, so maybe that’s not an issue. These are very light and airy shoes. So airy that if I were to wear dark socks it would be obvious in the perforated top of foot part. That’s fine with me, I got white socks. And I like the breathable mesh because I will be wearing these primarily in the summer in the heat, so having a cool breathable shoe is important to me. They also provided an extra pair of inserts…. Not certain I understand when to use them, though it appears they are a little less ‘structured’ or firm as the ones already in the shoe. I’ll hang on to them as I wear them even more in case I want them. All in all, this is a great, comfortable, good-looking shoe! Read more

If you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis or have flat feet, you know how impossible it is to find a shoe that is actually comfortable for more than an hour. These Men's Orthopedic Road Running Shoes have been an absolute lifesaver for my daily routine. Why They Deserve 5 Stars: Incredible Arch Support: The built-in orthotic support is firm but cushioned. It perfectly realigns my foot, which has significantly reduced my heel and arch pain during long walks. True Wide Fit: I ordered the 10 Wide, and they are actually wide! There is plenty of room in the toe box so my feet don't feel pinched, even after they swell a bit at the end of a long shift. Breathable & Lightweight: The mesh upper is very breathable, which is great for keeping my feet cool while walking or working. They don't feel heavy or clunky like some other orthopedic shoes. Versatile Style: The W1-Black design is sleek enough that I can wear them as casual sneakers for errands, but they are supportive enough for light athletic use or standing all day at work. Pain Relief: Since switching to these, that "first step in the morning" pain from my Plantar Fasciitis has noticeably decreased. Pro Tip: If you are between sizes, the wide version offers a lot of room. I found my usual size in "Wide" was the perfect fit without needing to size up. The Verdict: You don't have to spend $150+ on name-brand medical shoes to get relief. These sneakers provide professional-level orthopedic support at a fraction of the price. My feet haven't felt this good in years! Read more

These shoes are super cool, both visually and physically. When my husband saw them for the first time he said "Those don't look like shoes for wide feet" and he's right. They don't look it but I can sure feel it. There's plenty of room in the toe box without any rubbing or painful compression. The insoles are mildly squishy yet very supportive, not just for my high arches but for my entire foot. They're so comfortable thanks to the insole and wide toe box. The fit is great for me from toe to heel. I found the sweet spot with the laces where I can easily slide them off and on and they feel just right on my feet. The shoes are very lightweight and breathable. The tongue is really thin and held in place on both sides with a wide elastic strip. I really love the color style on these, the color fade with the white, blue, and black look so cool. The extra insole is a big seller for me because I go through insoles quick, and getting a spare that's just as comfortable as the one in the shoe is fantastic. I wish all shoe companies would do this. They have a good grip on sidewalks and pavement. I'm not sure about durability with them being so lightweight, that knowledge will come with time. They're true to size for me. They're a fair value for the quality, functionality, and comfort. I really love them and would order again. Read more

These are well made, well designed sneakers. They really are a pleasure to walk around in. It's going to be hard to put on other shoes after wearing these lol! The fit is just about perfect. When they arrived, they looked bigger than I was expecting them to be. But once they were on my feet, they fit perfectly. I like the look also. I love that they give you additional inserts to add to the shoe... That way you can get the right amount of support for your feet, without having to purchase separate orthotics or inserts. Other shoe companies should be doing this. My only concern is that with the extra inserts added, the heel of the foot is elevated--more so than with regular boat shoes or dress shoes. And for me, walking around on the streets of Manhattan, I have to always be on the lookout for uneven sidewalk pavers. In fact, walking around in these, I did almost roll my ankle because of one of my feet stepping halfway on to a paver that was elevated about an inch from another paver. Fortunately it wasn't a problem. I've had other shoes that are much worse. This isn't a big deal for most people, I wouldn't think, it's just in Manhattan thing. All things considered, I'm delighted with these. Recommended... Read more
