I love using this derma roller! This is my first time purchasing a derma roller, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Most others I saw for sale were only .25 mm, but I really wanted to purchase one a little longer than that. This one at .3 mm is perfect! It doesn’t hurt at all but I can really feel an effect each time I use it. I try to use it two to three times a week. I like to shower and wash my face first, then apply toner followed by a serum, and then I use the derma roller. Afterward, I rinse my face with water and then apply serum again followed by face cream. At this stage, I love the way my skin feels! It really drinks up any product I apply. I actually reapply my face cream another two times throughout the evening because my skin absorbs it so thoroughly afterward. I prefer to use the derma roller at night before bed, so the slight amount of redness I experience temporarily doesn’t matter. It goes away quickly. One time I did it during the day, and once my makeup was applied, there was no visible redness at all. It’s made a nice difference to my 40+ year old skin so far. I’ve been using it for the past three weeks or so. I’m excited to see what the results will be long term. The only less than stellar thing I could say about it is that, like others have mentioned, it does make a squeaking noise as it rolls back and forth. It’s not a really big deal, but I would like to find a solution to this. Perhaps I’ll try putting a drop of facial oil to joint where the roller spins? This derma roller has improved my skin texture by accelerating exfoliation. (I've been using it for about 3 weeks). The derma roller is painless and very easy to use. It's great to have a microneedling device for home use instead of having to spend money and time going to a dermatologist or a salon. The price (about $10) is great. And Sandine's customer service is totally awesome! I have emailed them several times with questions, both before and after purchase. (I probably drove them crazy with all my questions). Either James or Dimo always responds very promptly. Actually, they often reply right away (including one time when I emailed them in the wee hours of the morning!). This is my first time owning or using one of these so i dont have anything to gage it by, i am not displeased w it. I had it for a week and it began to have really annoying squeak about it and it began to catch a little while rolling. It was an easy fix though.it seems to do what its suppose to. If they tell you this doesn’t hurt, they were lying. It stings when you press it on your skin. And it stings for at least hours after you apply serum. I only used it once and this review is based on my one time experience. I will come back to update after maybe a months use. Updates: And here I am for the detailed review. I only used it twice to be honest. The first time after I used, I got serious rash. The rash was like big bumps that stung by mosquitoes. And the second time I used it, I got MORE SERIOUS bumps. And it took two weeks for the bumps to go away and left black marks!! This is nothing that approves your skin condition. If you want to try, try it. It is a great quality derma roller. After just using it once I could see the difference in the skin (only find yourself tutorial on youtube to do it properly). Of course now I use it regularly and not too often because the skin needs to regenerate (1-2 week). Effects are pretty amazing considering it is very difficult to achieve thicker skin with creams. The length of the needles is perfect to use at home and I do see the difference between titan needles and stainless steel. I had cheap one with steel needles in the past (different company) and it caused plenty of problems (infection, scratches, pain). Nothing like this happens with this dermaroller. Currently it is the best way to stimulate collagen, improve the elasticity thickness of the skin (same principle as laser therapy). I can recommend it to everyone. My biggest problem zone is neck where my skin is paper thin. Dermaroller helped a lot with this problem. Read more
