my kids use the microwave alot. It is easy to use and works well. I've even steamed dumplings in the microwave with this. The plastic is sturdy, been dropped a few times and still intact. The size it perfect for my microwave, any bigger and it would not fit. Cleans very easily. Just wish it was a bit cheaper. Read more
I absolutely love this microwave cover. It makes our food come out really moist and not overcooked. Even meats, fish and soups come out great with no splatter. The half moon lid (as I call it) is very handy, eliminating the need to remove the entire cover when heating items in small bowls and cups. It is sturdy, yet light weight, and the handle enables easy, perfect placement over the silicone microwave mat that I use. I do need to wipe after each use, as it tends to leave water droplets, but I am particular anyway about keeping my appliances clean. So I just rinse and dry it, whereas my husband lets it dry on its own, which is just fine. I highly recommend buying the 12" size. It is definitely worth the extra cost for the full size needed to fully cover dinner plates. Anything smaller would not have met our needs. You can't go wrong with this one. Read more

Perfect for covering a plate in the microwave and having my pre-cooked meal come out hot and moist. A couple of tablespoons of water in the reservoir is more than enough to serve for the 90-second warmup. The dome forms a snug seal with the mat, which I leave on the rotating glass tray that stays in the microwave, and the microwave itself remains clean. I haven't tried reheating something with a lot of tomato sauce yet, but I expect any spatter will clean up handily with a sponge. At least it will just be inside this handy device, and I won't have to clean the whole oven. Read more
