Moen Chateau Chrome One-Handle Low-Arc Centerset Bathroom Sink Faucet with Drain Assembly L4621

Bought 2 for a two basin vanity and have been using for 4 months.....they ARE great. They were well packaged/protected when received; good detailed instructions, everything needed for installation is included, even optional installation fittings. It installs easily, sits on a really nice custom molded thin polyethylene base spacer which is practically invisible. The drain pop-up assembly and mechanism is 100%, I really liked the high quality washers and "down tube" components. Quality was very nice. When installing the only additional materials I needed was some clear silicone caulk and some white Teflon pipe thread tape. Also, although the existing metal tubes from a similar prior Moen fixture(s) probably would have worked, I decided to replace them wth new "flexible type" water supply lines. The polished brass finish is stunning, it only requires a very"light wipe-down" to look perfectly brand new, The finish doesn't look like some sort of cheap metal plating, etc., warranty of finish performance is provided by Moen for many years! Their new "latest & greatest" ceramic valve cartridge operation is REALLY nice! Shopped very, very hard before selecting this Moen fixture and am REALLY happy I did, I'll be ordering another one of these for an additional bathroom vanity make-over soon.......plus, after checking prices everywhere prior to this purchase (all the "big-box" home improvement stores, on-line big time contractor suppliers, etc.) , believe it or not, AMAZON had the best pricing! I'm convinced Moen products are better than the other 3 or 4 top manufacturers, (Moen customer support is outstanding, def. This MOEN bathroom faucet is very attractive and stylish, and operates with a very smooth action and light touch. The faucet was exactly as described and was easy to install. One word of advice: there are no instructions included, but there is a bar code inside the lid of the box it comes in that will take to the instructions. You have to be smart enough to look for the bar code, which I was not, but still found the installation easy. When I was done there were no leaks anywhere. We purchased a home last year in the process of "downsizing" that had Moen Chateau fixtures in the master bath that were more than 20 years old. They worked ok but had the center control that had to be pulled out to turn on the water. With age the process was made even more difficult to initiate and control, especially with arthritic hands. The new Moen Chateau is very user friendly. The finish is flawless and literally sparkles when wiped off. Although not particularly compelling aesthetically for those seeking to create a "designer" look, the ease of operation and overall quality of this item fit our needs perfectly. Read more

My old sink faucet was showing some signs of wear, so I got this one to replace it. I loved that it was the same size and look as the original and fit in the same dimensions as the original. Installation was very straightforward and they included parts that would fit lots of different types of counters etc. I took off one star because the plastic-y gasket that goes between the faucet and the sink seemed to be a little bit off in size, so it would slip when I would try to tighten the faucet down. I suspect if you had someone else holding the faucet on tightly over the gasket when you tighten the nuts below, it would be fine though. I bought 2 of these faucets to replace my original 1995 Moen faucets in the master bath. I hired a plumber to do the install and he said the materials were high quality and easy to install. The only plastic part is the drain stem, but it appears to be well made and strong. Needless to say, these are an upgrade from my original equipment, but even so, the handle works very smoothly and the water stream is dense and strong. I bought the shiny silver finish which doesn't show water spots. I like these faucets a lot and would highly recommend. Read more

These are great, they install easy and work well. Only tip I would have is to make sure the down pipe it tight on the one you get. I had one that was a tiny bit loose, but I threaded it on tight, and no leaks. Read more

I ordered two of these faucets because of the brand, Moen, and because they fit the area where old faucets had been. After one of our bathroom faucets failed, I found these on Amazon and ordered them. They arrived the next day, and my husband installed them.
