I was initially skeptical of this product, since it is SO much cheaper than those available at my local hardware stores. After buying and installing this one, however, I've bought the "three gang" model and am about to order several more. First, the build quality is great. It looks like a much more expensive switch and I was not at all worried about breaking it during the install. Second, the install itself was a piece of cake. If you've ever swapped out a standard light switch or receptacle, the process is exactly the same. It comes with all the wire nuts you will need for the process and a reasonably clear set of instructions. It does require a neutral wire, which most homes of relatively recent vintage support (my house was built in the early 80s, and it had a neutral wire). If you are not sure if you have a neutral wire, just look behind your current switch for a white wire (or wires, if you're working with a 2, 3 or 4 gang) that may or may not be connected to your existing, traditional switch (mine weren't.) If you see one, you are probably good to go. Third, Google Home integration was totally seamless. The switch popped right up in the app and works flawlessly from there. This is, in sum, a great product and I will continue to buy more of them. Highly recommended! Read more

They are good quality. Haven't had any issues with them. They stay connected. They are thinner than other devices which is great for fitting in tight boxes. But what you should know. I would only use them if you change every switch in your home for them. Don't mix and match. The reason is these aren't really like most switches. Most rocker switches are top is on and bottom is off. Even though these look like rocker switches they are not. Top doesn't do anything. Bottom switches state. So you only press bottom. Some have complained about them breaking. Which I can assume is because people go to turn light hitting the top side which goes against how its designed. I have 8 of these and the rest are another brand that operates like a traditional rocker. So find myself fumbling with them. If all of them were Moes we would get used to it after a period. Read more

Just hooked it up, opened the app, and it asked to add this switch (albeit with a name in Asian characters). I renamed it and it worked immediately. The biggest drawback to Wifi automation is the proliferation of communication standards, each requiring a different app. I have been using the Lampux app that came with my numerous LePro bulbs, which appears to be Tuya/SmartThings compatible. It worked like a charm—even easier than for the bulbs it came with. The only thing that keeps this switch from an enthusiastic 5 stars is that it uses a cheesy plastic frame to attach to the box and the plate. At least it is the standard US Decora size, but it does not seem very strong, especially if your box is full of wires that have to be pressed in. Read more

As others have said, the switch works fine by itself and is easy to install and setup during the initial install but all 3 switches each continue to randomly drop connection from my WiFi and have to be reset in order to work again. I have WiFi smart switches from other brands that integrate with the Tuya/Smart Life app as well that don’t have any issues… also have TP-Link/Kaso brand WiFi switches that don’t have any issues… I should have just stuck with the brands that I knew instead of trying to go with a different brand to get the 3-gang set! Very unhappy with the quality. Read more

I added 2 MoesGO single pole switches to an existing 4 gang switch outlet to control my outside lights. I was concerned about fit since it's a tight set up so partially picked these switches based on their rather slim dimensions. It was still tight but the Installation was pretty straight forward it just took some patience. I'm sure if just installing in a single switch box it would have been faster. One thing to note is you will need to make sure you connect the neutral wire since most standard light switches just have power, common and ground. Once installed and powered on I used the SmartLife app and it discovered the two switches right away and I was able to set up fairly easily without issues. You will need to log into your wifi network to enable. You can also link to Google Assistant or Alexa. I use Google Assistant which also linked up but took a bit of going between apps to get to work. Also the SmartLife app itself allows you to program times you want to turn on and off. The only feature I wish they had was a smart setting that would automatically turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. Some other switches I've seen do have this. This will save having to modify settings seasonally. Outside of that one small nit these switches otherwise worked as advertised. Read more

This took my family members 3 hours to install since they are not electricians, but it works & is a luxury for me. I shower, turn on my bathroom fan, then read in bed until I'm sleepy. I used to have to turn the light back on, get back up, & go to the bathroom to turn off the fan. By them, I'm fully awake again. With this smart with, I don't need any light to tell Alexa to turn off fan. Plus, it's so convenient that I can either tell Alexa to turn on the light or the fan, OR I can manually do either. So cool... Read more
