About this item

  • 【WHAT IS CARBON FIBER?】:Carbon fiber is always called “The King of Material", sometimes known as graphite fiber -- is a strong, stiff, lightweight material that is five times stronger than steel. It has the potential to replace steel and is popularly used in specialized, high-performance products like aerospace, racecars, and sporting equipment. Used under the insole to demonstrate its lightweight, convenience, and rigidness.
  • 【Pain Relief】: The carbon fiber insole is 1.5 mm thick with little flexibility designed to relieve the pressure between the metatarsal joints and toes, to keep your toes from over-extending, reducing pain from too much movement for a better gait and balance. Easy to use. Carbon fiber insert can be used in different sports shoes such as sneakers, hiking boots, baseball, tennis, golf, soccer or basketball shoes.
  • 【For Foot Recovery Insoles】: Carbon fiber foot plate is thinner, lighter than steel, and the rigid "Morton Extension insole" fit and function comfortably in most footwear. Can help people reduce foot pain when injured or recovering from surgery and is a quality choice for Morton's Toe、Turf Toe、Arthritis、Hallux Rigidus、Hallux Limitus、Big Toe Fractures、Light Sprains and Fractures、broken big toe and Forefoot Pain
  • 【How to Choose Size】: Sizing is not shoe size specific, please measure your foot or insole rather than the shoe (pic 6) and choose a carbon fiber insole that is 0.2-0.4 inches shorter. Since the Flat Morton's Toe Plates is very stiff, use this shoe stiffener insert under a removable insole or orthotic for best results
  • 【1 PIECE Carbon Fiber】: Turf Toe Relief Insole sold as single item(1PC). Universal right/left, fits and works comfortably in most footwear. If you have any questions about use or sizing, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you!

Made my whole day better

Susanne SuzetteNovember 11, 2025

I have the beginning of arthritis in my big toe and was hurting at every step. I know that a stiffer shoe would help because Birkenstocks work, but sometimes I just want to wear my tennis shoes. This insert solved my problem perfectly. It doesn't interfere with my walking. I don't notice it at all really, except that it keeps my toe from hurting. You do want to put it underneath the insole that comes with your shoe. Pull the insole, slip the insert into the shoe and then replace the insole. It's going to make your shoes a tad tighter at the bridge of your foot so just loosen your laces a bit. I did not try it with any shoe that wasn't a lace up so I can't comment on that. Read more

Great product!

Morton’s Extension Orthotic, Recovery Carbon Fiber Insole This orthotic has been a game-changer for my left big toe, which was sore from rubbing and overuse. Once I started using it, walking became much more comfortable and stable. The rigid support is excellent for conditions like Morton's toe, turf toe, and forefoot pain. Very well made and effective—I highly recommend it for anyone needing extra toe and forefoot support. Read more

Fits in most shoes

BHAugust 19, 2025

Got this to wear in my shoes because my custom orthotics do not fit in most shoes. I am recovering from a severe MTP sprain and this has been great to support that joint as it continues to heal. It does not fit in my ballet flats, but does fit in most of my other shoes. Read more

Not for everyone

This has good stiffness as it should be for its use. But if you are also having trouble with plantar fasciitis, this is not for you. Read more

Easy to use and work great in your own shoes

CustomerJanuary 7, 2026

Bought these for my 15yr old suffering from turf toe as an alternative for the flat sandals they gave him at the orthopedist. They work perfectly in his shoes under the original shoe insoles, and are helping his toe heal. I didn’t use the adhesive, just slipped them in! Highly recommend! Read more

★☆☆☆☆

Very uncomfortable/painful where the insole stops (doesn't have anything under remaining 4 toes)

CDRFebruary 14, 2025

Even when placed under a shoe/boot insole, this is so stiff that it doesn't conform AT ALL to any shoe I have. I know rigidity is the point, but it needs at least some material at the 'cutout' in the insole. Instead, it leaves a hard/rubbing gap where the insole 'rises above' the shoe insole. Read more

Will buy again!

Absolutely great product. After serving in the military, I was injured and lost the ability to use my right toe. This product allows me to run again! Read more

Check with your doctor 1st to see if this is an option.

RosemaryOctober 3, 2025

RECOMMENDED BY MY ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR. Large toe was very painful when flexing it. These thin graphite extensions slide into my closed shoe (not sandals or open back), under the insert, and stops my toe from flexing. I am able to be active without limited movement and pain. This was my alternative to prolonging surgery as long as possible. Check with your doctor to see if this is an option for you and have him/her determine your correct size before ordering. (While the extension is thin, it does take up space, so be sure to check how it alters your fit.) Read more
