I thought the measuring device was missing because I couldn’t find it. Turns out they secured it to the side of the unit and I didn’t see it until I called to report it was missing and they asked me to turn the unit over to get the serial and model #, then I saw it attached to the side. Also, in the instruction booklet, on page 8 under #8, it is written to place the jar full of ice and ingredients under the brew spout #5, but the brew spout is actually #6 so that needs to be corrected in the next printing of the instruction booklet. Also, I filled it with the instructed amount of ice but the drink did not come out like a frappe or frozen coffee, it was not thick as it should have been, it was only like a latte or any liquid cold drink. So next time I going to try it with more ice than they instructed. I previously had the other Mr Coffee machine which is much smaller and actually makes a very thick frozen coffee but it stopped working so I needed a new one but that one was now double the price I paid for the original one so I bought this one instead because the price was better. I love this coffee machine. It has saved me tons of money on driving to get coffee every morning. I mostly used it for iced coffee, then I got good at making Frappe’s. Here’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars: I used the blender for Frappe’s less than 10 times before it quit mid-blend the other day. However, I reached out to the Mr, Coffee company directly and gave them all of the information and after trying their troubleshooting tips, and nothing working, they are sending me a new one. I would highly recommend this coffee machine, even though mine had an issue it was quickly figured out and replaced as it was under warranty, and I am still using this one for iced coffee until my new one comes in.
