Nice professional jewelry cleaner
This is a very large professional jewelry steam cleaner. It is easy to use, the directions are easy to follow. It does a really nice deep clean on your real jewelry. It does not clean costume jewelry and some gem stones. It does tell you what you can and cannot clean with it. Read more
Mxmoonant Jewelry Steam Cleaner - defective
I recently purchased the Mxmoonant Jewelry Steam Cleaner 2L/0.52 gal (0.8L Liquid Capacity), 135°C/275℉ High-Pressure, 8-Min H. I carefully followed the instructions, watched the setup video multiple times, and confirmed there are no blockages. The unit powers on, and the heat button turns green, but the start button remains orange at all times. When I press the pump pedal, the steamer does not function. Despite troubleshooting, the device will not operate as expected. Read more
You MUST do your research if you don't know what you're doing
For me and my house, I'm basically using this to clean solid, non-plated metals and diamonds. Period. There are a couple of other hard gems that are *probably* fine, but unless you're absolutely, positively, definitely sure that the gems were not heat treated, I wouldn't steam them. Some gems are susceptible to thermal shock, so you could end up with a big ol' crack. The bottom line is that this is a professional item for a reason. All that said, this does what it says it will do, albeit with a bit of a smaller tank than you'd like if you're doing any volume. Read more
Easy to Use
This jewelry steam cleaner is super easy to setup and use. I do wish that it had a larger capacity, since it takes several minutes for any new water to be heated and ready for use. If you have more than a couple of items that need to be cleaned, then it can be a time-consuming process with a lot of wait time. I do however like that it allows you to really clean jewelry without needing to use any harsh chemicals. It also comes with what you will need to get started. Read more
