Guess I'm getting old... my neck and shoulders would hurt every single morning. I used to be able to sleep anywhere or on anything! The neck and shoulder pain was genuinely affecting my quality of sleep, and my day! So I thought it was worth trying to change pillows. I had good, name-brand poly and/or cotton fill pillows. A couple down pillows too. I've tried several different styles - some better than others. I thought I'd give My Pillow a try. I admit when the My Pillows arrived I was skeptical. They looked lumpy and thin. After running through the dryer (as recommended) they fluffed right up, but still seemed like the fillings were small little foam bits (which, actually, they are). I gave it a try. The first night was good, but still a little sore. After just a couple more nights I awoke with no neck/shoulder pain... first time in well over a year! I couldn't believe it, and it was certainly NOT a coincidence. These pillows tend to let the weight of your head and the muscles in your neck press into the pillow to a point, but then it sort of stops compressing further. It's like memory foam almost, but not quite, it doesn't feel like memory foam at all You can press into the pillow a little harder initially, or fluff it up a bit, to kind of change your positioning slightly if you need it. Wow, they are comfortable (although different feeling) and they really do seem to keep my spine in alignment. Also, they don't get too hot - which is a must for me! I don't know what else to say, I thought My Pillow was another gimmicky and over-hyped brand, but I'm really glad I tried these out of desperation. I'm sure they won't be right for everyone, and I'm sure there may be similar or better pillows out there. For me though, My Pillow resulted in nearly miraculous improvement in my sleep and quality of life, and so I'm very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend you try them. Read more

After experimenting w/ several similar type pillows, this one in white works best for me. I also tried the green level = too much fill for me (5''6" female). This white level king pillow is very comfortable and I get a good night's sleep w/ it. That said, of course, YMMV (your mileage may vary), but I recommend trying it, especially if you get thru Prime and if you don't like it, return w/in their parameters for free return shipping + refund (and on Prime, of course, you never paid for initial shipping anyway). 4.5 stars is my actual rating. Upon its arrival, I followed directions and pulled out of box, removed plastic and put in dryer on air fluff for 5 minutes (I don't remember if the directions said low heat or not, but I just did air fluff) and pillow filled out very nicely. My 1 complaint is that it is shorter than every other king size pillow we have in the house (currently 6) and shorter than the other similar type of pillow I tried (which I also loved but FAAAARRR too much fill for me - Shredded Memory Foam Pillow with Bamboo Cover) from Amazon. So, your pillow cases will have quite a bit of extra fabric hanging off the end which is why 4.5 stars is my actual rating. That is my only complaint and I have been sleeping on it for 2 weeks. I thought this product was nothing but hype...until a co-worker mentioned she and her husband had been using theirs for about 6 months (different fill levels) and LOVE them. That glowing recommendation (coupled w/ the fact that through Prime, there was no risk to me losing money), I decided why wouldn't I at least try...so glad I did :) FYI - the outer plastic wrap has a small label stating the size and type of pillow. For example, for this product, my label was white and said "King Premium". My green pillow has a green label on the plastic overwrap "King Premium". Another way to tell the difference is on the wash/care label sewn onto the pillow itself. My washing/care instructions on this pillow are a white label w/ black lettering. On the green pillow, the wash/care instructions are green printing on white label. Hope this helps :) Read more

I’m extremely disappointed with this pillow overall, which is a bummer. It felt like all hype online with nothing to back it up, unfortunately. It’s very soft, light, and fluffy, which I love. The filling is shredded foam, a very odd sensation. I gave it time, and it only got worse. The foam spread out too much. The pillow I purchased was supposed to be king size; it’s never filled out a king-size pillowcase even since it was new. Its actual size is closer to standard (full). The directions say it can be fluffed up in the dryer, which I also really liked…at first. Before long I found myself fluffing it in the dryer every week while changing sheets. I shouldn’t have to maintain a pillow that much to get it to work for me. Again, the foam continued to spread and simultaneously flatten. At night I’d either have a pillow that was way too fluffed/plump, forcing my neck forward in an awkward position or too flat, giving me no support. Numerous migraines ensued. I ended up ordering a feather down-filled pillow for cheaper just for kicks to see if that helped. It’s been a couple of weeks, and absolutely no migraines or neck aches since! Sadly, I will never buy a MyPillow again. (P.S. I wrote their Customer Service team for help before posting this review and got crickets. That seems about right.) Read more

I finally caved and bought one because I just couldn’t find a pillow that would last. I always thought these were a gimmick, but now I don’t go anywhere without this pillow. 50 bucks may seem a little steep for a pillow, but I promise you it is well worth it. It holds the contour of how you position yourself on it very well and if you wash them they don’t get gross. Honestly also feels like they breathe really well, so my head stays cooler, which is good for me. Read more
