Although some reviews mention a boat load of negativity, take that with a grain of salt. I purchased this unit a year ago, and have had time to see its pros and cons. I had the earlier version,(still available), about 5 years ago on my Goldwing and was skeptical until I heard what it would do with a stock Honda Goldwing stereo system. Honda put some very crappy speakers(30 amp rated 2 ohm) with very low impedance in these early bikes (2006). Coupled with an amp that did nothing for volume and depth, these were used for many years from 2001-2012 at least. With nothing to lose, I installed the earlier model along with a separate Bluetooth dongle and when I turned it on, the volume and clarity increase was dramatically increased. More bass, way more volume and thru the 4 speakers ,5.25 in, it was easily heard at highway speeds. Before? Not so much past 60mph, and became useless. The new version with BT is on my 2002 model Goldwing now. Same results but without a dongle. Even while plugged in to charge, there is no feed back or hum. Very big difference. Worth every penny, and dramatic difference to our riding even though this bike has only 2 speakers. Before this amp, she couldn’t hear much after 50 mph. Now, it is clear up to 75mph for us both. Give it a try, I can’t say anything about customer service, as I haven’t had issues with product. If it doesn’t work for you, just return it. It’s Amazon, people. Lol Read more

I bought these to enhance the sound quality of higher impedance headphones I own and it does that job wonderfully. Muddy lows and mids became sharp and clear with everything from over ear headphones to IEMS. It's a very simple device that can be manipulated without looking the controls. The Bluetooth is a nice feature, but I wont be using it that much. Battery life is great and charges via usb-c. Read more
I bought this for my old 2007 Toyota Solara SLE Convertible with the "premium" JBL Nav head until. I found the Aux amplification for this JBL Nav head unit was fairly low (I have a Solara is non-nav to compare it to) and while the head until has Bluetooth, it is only for phone calls (odd decision on JBL/Toyota). First off, It is interesting that it Bluetooth in this Amp is ready to connect as soon as it is powered on, while that surely makes it easy to connect to, I wondering about other random jerks connecting or being able to have a passenger to connect instead of me... I guess time will tell. I have the amp set to low (L), and I just turn it up all the way when powering on, and it is more than enough to overcome the Solara's deficient JBL Nav amplification on the Aux input. I do have power supplied (all times) and while I have a BESIGN Ground Loop Noise Isolator between this Bluetooth Amp & the Aux, I am hearing no whine/buzz. The "old" Amp and separate Bluetooth units I was using before, I did hear a very slight annoying power whine, even with the ground loop noise isolator. It seems all these little amp units could be designed for ground loop noise isolation, it couldn't add that much to the final cost. Anyways, buying a separate one like I did months back, isn't a big deal either. I now have less things to power & various audio/power cables to run in the Aux cubby area - so the cubby area is much cleaner. The size is perfect for the cubby too and as far as I am concern it sounds great. You can't really see it in my cubby, and I love that. Read more
