Hard to believe this was new as advertised
When I received this slow cooker, the inside box was torn and the bottom of the ceramic pot seemed to have been used. So, I give it a chance; set the cooker over night for 8 hours and when I woke up, the food was still not ready. It seemed as if the ceramic pot did not get hot enough. Read more

It really is a slow cooker!
I love Nesco products, I purchased this thinking I would be as happy with it as I am with their other electric pans and roasters! I made a stew and it took forever. Maybe it's me, but cooked it for over 12 hrs....Not very impressed. Maybe I am not a master at slow cookers. The food was piping hot and delicious, because of the time it took to make the stew is the reason I gave it 3 stars! Read more
