Coffee taste way better now. Way better. Quality of the product is superb. The motorized open and close is a good touch. The water tank position is adjustable and that solves my kitchen counter space problem. Functionality - Easy one button function. No option for large coffee mug option. Infact it's better not to drink that much espresso. However I noticed the temperature of the coffee tends to be little less warm then my Keurig. Noise level is more than Keurig. Overall I love it. The media could not be loaded. I had my eye on this Breville Nespresso VertuoPlus for a while and finally jumped when the price dipped a bit, and I’m so glad I did! We’ve used a Nespresso machine for over a decade at home and have come to rely (maybe even depend 😄) on the top-tier coffee quality it delivers. But my office setup had been lacking…until now. This machine is a noticeable upgrade from our older model at home. The motorized head opens and closes smoothly at the touch of a button, giving it a sleek, modern feel. The tall, slender water reservoir can be repositioned to either side, which is incredibly helpful when placing the machine near a wall or in tight spaces. It holds plenty of water (around 40 oz) and looks elegant too. Key Features I Love: Fast Heat-Up: It’s ready to brew in about 25 seconds. I especially like that you can press the brew button as it's warming up, then walk away. it will automatically brew once it reaches temperature. Smart Spent Capsule Disposal: After brewing, just tap the button and the head lifts, dropping the used capsule into a hidden rear bin. The magnetized bin stays firmly in place. Adjustable Drip Tray: Whether it’s a small espresso cup or my oversized heated mug, the drip tray accommodates easily and is simple to clean. Looks Fantastic: I went with the gray version. It looks sharp and is a conversation starter—almost everyone who visits my office comments on how stylish it is! Added Bonuses: It came with a sample pack of Nespresso Vertuo pods, from espresso to large coffee, with a variety of roast levels. The box included discount codes for use on Nespresso’s website, which was a nice surprise. Final Thoughts: This machine brews single-serve coffee and espresso at the touch of a button, offering 4 cup sizes (5oz, 8oz, single and double espresso), and works great for hot or iced coffee drinks. It’s perfect for both home and office use, and the automatic shutoff is a great energy-saving feature. If you love Nespresso coffee and are looking for a versatile, elegant, and easy-to-use machine, I can’t recommend this one enough. Five stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Read more

The coffee this machine produces is excellent. I use intenso, half cafe and decafe regularly. This is my third Nespresso machine and I just love it. I do hate descaling , though. I think every Nespresso machine has very complicated directions for descaling and I dread doing it. But I just bought this machine and it doesn't need descaling yet, of course. This is the quietest Nespresso machine I have owned. It still makes noise, but nothing compared to the previous one I still own. I banished it to our Lake House because it is so loud it would wake up my husband from his afternoon nap!!!! This machine is easy to use. The water tank is big and you can make several cups before having to refill. It's sturdy and trust worthy. BTW, I NEVER use the container that captures the ejected pod. I just let them fall to the counter top and I recycle them. I am convinced that my first Nespresso machine broke because of the build up of the ejected pods that piled up in the catch container and broke some gadget in the machine. Boo Hoo. My bad. I was unaware that my husband had been using this machine as well and Lost track of how many ejected pods were in the catch container. I just keep that catch container in the cabinet. I really love everything about this machine, except descaling, of course. Also, the water container can swing to the right, left or be positioned straight back from the machine. That's a space saver feature. Read more

The first thing I noticed on this model is that is it is extremely quiet when the automatic lid opens and closes and more importantly, brewing coffee. I could say this with some authority since this is my third not of this particular model, but of Nespresso machines. I make a lot of coffee and unfortunately on a lot of these the bearing wears out and then they fail. I usually get about 2 to 3 years out of each machine. So far so good, coffee comes out nice and hot. It’s simple to use. You have to love the one button deal. This unit is definitely small enough to fit on the countertop of most US kitchens. The lid will open and you won’t hit the upper cabinet. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Still works 3 years later! I’m a coffee lover, not connoisseur. I appreciate good taste, but mainly use it to caffeinate my day. I love that the Nespresso Vertuo plus allows me to make coffee/espresso quickly while not sacrificing taste too much. There are a couple of small quirks but nothing major. Key Features: * Ease of use: (4/5) - Not totally intuitive at first, but once you read the directions, it’s simple to operate. * Ease of cleaning: (4/5) - More involved and not straightforward, however, directions are online * Durability: (5/5) - lasted 3 years * Coffee/Espresso taste: (4/5) - obviously this is not as good as fresh coffee or fresh espresso, however, for what it is, it has excellent taste compared to other products * Overall Value: (5/5) - long-lasting with good performance * Additional notes: unlike other single cup coffee makers, I believe that the Nespresso has their own proprietary pods. Bottom line: I prefer this over other single-cup coffee makers because the coffee/espresso tastes cleaner and has less of that artificial flavor. If you want quick, better-than-average coffee with reliable durability, this is worth it. Read more
