If you’re looking for a product that works well but easy to install - this is the product for you. Super easy, no cables , no screwdrivers, suitable for people like me who are not very crafty / tech savvy. I loved that I could do it by myself but it still meet the requirements of the insurance companies. Very easy installation with the help of the guide book that’s included with the product, and the installation video — took less than 3 min to install. It was great to find such a simple product It can be installed either on the dashboard, or if it’s too textured — on the windshield (the device adjusts and fits both). I like that it has dual option for either magnet (which fits my iPhone 15 pro max) or a regular holder, and that the camera is built in the arm itself. Highly recommend. I have tested two other dash cams previously and would rate this camera higher than the others due to the image quality and sturdy design. The windshield clamp provides a solid hold onto the glass. I have a Galaxy S22 ultra with a large case and the built-in phone holder works great. Be advised that this camera will require your phone to connect to the dash cam's built-in WI-FI in order to view or download the images it has recorded. This wi-fi network will NOT connect to the internet so you will not be able to use your phones WI-FI signal when driving. I recommend you change your settings for any apps that you use for driving to use your data plan as in most cases you will not be connected to a wi-fi signal while driving anyway. If your phone always tends to search your wi-fi signal first, you will get poor cellular service so use data whenever possible. Overall this camera is well made and provides a good image quality. The smartphone app is very simple to setup and once installed on your phone takes only a few seconds to connect to the camera so that you can begin viewing footage or taking screenshots. The built-in SD card is also a good option as you will not need to buy a separate SD card unless you want more storage. Overall this is a well made dash cam. Read more

It’s funny reading the comments—this product is very easy to install and doesn’t require an app. Before I bought it, I saw people here saying they don’t want to depend on an app. There’s no dependence at all! Just plug it into the car’s 12V cigarette lighter, place it on the dashboard or windshield, and drive. You only need the app if you want to save a recorded file to your phone’s storage, but I don’t really see a reason to do that unless you were in an accident or something similar and need evidence or a video showing what happened on the road. I bought this for a little extra security with my gig job delivering food. While it's easy to set up, it needs to be set up every time the car starts, which means I either have to leave my car running while I myself my deliveries, or restart the app after each one. Neither is great. The idea is fantastic, though. It installed easily and fits nicely on my dash. The phone cradle doesn't quite fit my phone, but the metal plate works just fine. All in all, if you're needing something cheap for longer drives, there's nothing wrong with this. If you're making frequent stops like I am, give it a pass. Read more

The camera and the associated phone software are excellent. The camera turns on right away and provides clear video. The software allows you to connect your phone via wifi signal to the camera to download and view the camera in real-time. It works very well. The suction cup is very strong and has not broken grip once since I applied it to the plastic disk over a month ago. As a holder, this is purely deficient. I have an iPhone 14 Pro -- the ball joint is not able to get tight enough to stop the phone from drooping down. I just use this as a dash cam and got another holder for my phone. Read more
