I’m fairly new to the matcha scene, but I am absolutely in love with this product. I recently gave up coffee due to a thyroid disorder and replaced it with matcha, and this has been a great transition for me. I’d love to try ceremonial-grade matcha someday, but for the price, I’ll probably stick with this one for now. The powder is a beautiful, vibrant green, dissolves easily with my frother whisk, and tastes amazing — smooth and not bitter. I especially appreciate the more balanced, sustained energy that this matcha provides, thanks to the natural caffeine paired with L-theanine. It gives me a calm, focused boost without the jitters I used to get from coffee. This has been a really positive experience so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing to explore matcha and learning more as I go. Read more

I just made myself a cup. It's delicious with just a little heavy cream Mmmm. I added about 1 tsp of powder for 12 oz hot water. This is also the best deal on such quality. I highly recommend it. Drink 1st thing in the morning or after the warm lemon water 🪽❤️🪽 Read more

It’s not ceremonial grade, but for the price and size, it is solid. The flavor is mild, not too bitter, and it gives a nice, clean energy boost. It mixes fairly well, though you may get some clumps unless you whisk or stir a bit longer. Packaging could be better, but overall it is a practical option for lattes, smoothies, or daily matcha without spending a lot $ Read more

I'm hooked! Never had Matcha before, so have nothing to compare this large container of fine bright-green powder with. Yum. My husband still likes hot chocolate better, but this matcha will take the place of my morning coffee sometimes. No instructions on container, so my first cup was a "trial". I have a small milk steamer (I actually use non-fat half and half), with a scoop of matcha and a bit of stevia or raw sugar. Found a few lumps in the first cup that I gave my husband...he sort of eyed it strangely!. Found that while the milk was frothing/steaming, I put about a 1/8 cup of water in microwave to boil, then added the sugar, and matcha to dissolve. Then the frothy milk. The container is large and will last me quite a while and the price was best of all I looked at. Yes, it's not ceremonial matcha, but good nevertheless. Has a slight "grassy" taste, but I'm only maybe imagining using grass. If there's a scoop inside, I'm not digging it out - just used a long-handled ice tea spoon to stir. The quality of the powder in the container was not lumpy, just even powder. Dissolved easily in a bit of boiling water, but had a few lumps in my first "trial" cup that my husband got. I recommend and will buy more. Read more

This matcha is fantastic! The taste is smooth, earthy, and fresh—exactly what I was hoping for in a culinary-grade, unsweetened product. It blends beautifully for lattes, and the fact that it’s truly sugar-free and stone-ground makes it a standout. One small suggestion: the scoop always settles at the bottom of the bag during shipping. It would be great if the manufacturer could find a way to keep it at the top—just to make things easier when opening a new bag. What surprised me most, though, is the impact it’s had on my health. Since switching from coffee to matcha, I’ve gone from having migraines several times a week to almost none. After doing some research, it makes sense—matcha’s moderate caffeine (released slowly thanks to L-theanine), calming properties, antioxidants like EGCG, and its effect on hydration and blood sugar all contribute to reducing migraine triggers. For me, it’s been life-changing. If you’re looking for a high-quality matcha that not only tastes great but also supports your wellness, this is it. I’m so glad I made the switch. Highly recommended! This matcha tastes very good, and it was the best price I could find on Amazon (per ounce). I'm very pleased with my purchase. Eight Months later I bought this Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder (two pounds) about eight months ago. I'm not out of it yet, but I'm getting sort of close and I don't want to run out (so I'm ordering my second two-pound jar). I am still very satisfied with the taste and price of this product. I also really like the big plastic jar that it comes in which helps protect the tea powder from moisture. Great buy! I noticed that some people wrote in their reviews that it's hard to blend the powder in liquid. I have always used either a battery-operated whisker or an electric hand blender. The powder mixes fine with either appliance. Also, a few people have written that this product isn't 100% matcha powder. The company claims it is 100% match powder, and nowhere on any part of the product page does it say otherwise. How people are drawing this conclusion (that it's not 100% matcha powder) is a mystery to me. Do these people have home labs? Are they taking the product to a lab for analysis? Some people have even said that there is lead in the product! How do they come to these conclusions without rock-solid evidence? I find the product very good and I have not detected any unusual tastes or odors. Read more
