I use a mix of desktop and laptop computers at different times each week. I prefer laptop stands, especially when doing a lot of typing or working with a synth and software, to raise the screen and leave room for the relevant peripherals. I have several, and I was interested in this one because other Orico products I’ve tried have been very good. This stand, as seen in the images I included, is built to be very sturdy, and it handled my 16 macbook pro with ease in terms of positioning and lacked any trace of sag. It is, however, a bit wobbly, which is to be expected in this style of stand, and the wobble, again as expected, gets more pronounced the heavier the laptop. Portability: this folds to a thick but smallish form factor, but I consider it too heavy to keep in my bag alongside my heavier laptops. While the construction is top notch, it has that bit of wobble which leaves me wanting a less foldable stand for use at home. Functional Usability: this is incredibly easy to position and stays where you put it. I was very pleased with that aspect. The wobble is minor, but noticeable even on a static work cubicle desk. Testing it at a coffee shop, apart from the weight which means I won’t choose it over my super-portable stands, it was easy to set and forget. It works with my 16" Macbook pro, with my smaller HP, and doesn't even notice my Macbook Air. Construction: as I said in the summary above, it’s built tough -- it looks very sleek yet industrial with good aesthetics, chunky design, and sturdy materials. The wobble is not because of any skimping by the manufacturer, it’s a side effect of the two point connection. The hinges, both on the base and top plate, are excellent, but do not have clear means to tighten or disassemble. Additional use cases exist, I also tried this with a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) controller and found it is not suitable for that application as I require because of the wobble I mentioned before -- it’s tough enough to take the inputs, but wobbles enough to be bothersome for precision. Since this isn’t specific to that use, it’s not a flaw, just an observation. Others might be able to use this in that scenario, however, so it’s more about what you like and expect. All in all, this is very well built, looks attractive, and only suffers in small ways from wobble and high weight, but the weight is a side effect of how sturdy it is, and it’s not a bad tradeoff. If this fits your use cases it’s absolutely a five star item. Personally, it’s a four star item for my personal use, but because I am sensitive to wobble and weight I’m not going to rate it 4/5 to avoid personal bias. A conditional 5/5 stars. If you need light weight, or need a total lack of wobble, this may not be for you. Read more

I had the opportunity to try the ORICO ergonomic laptop stand, and it has impressed me in several ways. The stand is made from solid aluminum alloy and has a premium feel with excellent overall build quality. Visually, it looks clean and modern, and the materials give it a sturdy, durable presence on the desk. The stand uses two aluminum arms with two hinge points—one at the base that adjusts from 0 to 70 degrees, and another at the top that adjusts from 90 to 120 degrees. This design allows for a wide range of height and angle adjustments. It also folds down flat, which makes it easy to store or take on the go. The top surface includes thick silicone padding that prevents slipping and protects the laptop from scratches. The hinge points are very stiff out of the box. While this makes adjustments require some effort, it also means the stand holds its position extremely well once set. For my use, I typically adjust it once and leave it in place, so the stiffness hasn’t been an issue. Hopefully it will loosen slightly with extended use. Ergonomically, the stand has made a noticeable difference. Raising the laptop screen closer to eye level has helped reduce neck strain and eye fatigue during long work sessions. The ventilation cutouts on the platform also help keep my laptop cooler, especially during rendering tasks or gaming. I use an external keyboard and mouse, and the stand integrates well into that setup while freeing up some desk space. Considering the build quality, adjustability, and overall design, the price feels very competitive. This is a well‑made, functional stand that enhances both comfort and laptop cooling. I would recommend it to anyone who spends long hours working on a laptop. Read more

Great stand with solid build quality. The hinge is really stiff and takes effort to move. The base is wide and has some weight to it it. There is no danger of the laptop falling over. It fits my laptop and can also be used to prop up a tablet on the counter while cooking. This was a great pickup. Read more

Here’s a clean, polished, and tech‑friendly review for the **ORICO Ergonomic Laptop Stand (ST11)**, written in your warm, practical style: --- ### ⭐ Review: ORICO Ergonomic Laptop Stand – Sleek, Sturdy, and Perfect for Better Posture ⭐ The ORICO ergonomic laptop stand is such a great addition to any desk setup. The aluminum alloy design looks sleek and modern, and it feels sturdy enough to hold larger laptops without wobbling. I love that it’s compatible with devices up to 17 inches — it gives you plenty of flexibility whether you’re using a MacBook, Dell, HP, or switching between devices. The height‑adjustable feature is a game changer. It lifts your laptop to a much more comfortable eye level, which really helps with posture and reduces neck strain during long work sessions. It’s easy to adjust, and once you set it, it stays in place without slipping. Another big plus is how **foldable and portable** it is. You can collapse it down quickly and take it with you, or just store it away when you want a cleaner desk. Even folded, it still feels solid and well‑made. The ventilation design is also thoughtful — the open structure helps keep your laptop cool, which is great for performance and longevity.
