OtterBox iPhone SE 3rd 2nd Gen iPhone 8 iPhone 7 Not Compatible with Plus Sized Models Commuter Series

Simply the best cell phone case I have ever used. I highly recommend it for the iPhone SE 2020 because it fits perfectly, seems indestructible and will most likely protect my phone from my clumsy abuse. Well worth the extra price since it's built to last. If you're shopping for a great protector, just stop and get this one. The the indigo blue is a very dark blue - close to black - which I like. It does not come with a glass screen protector, so I also purchased the JETech Screen Protector for iPhone SE 2020, 4.7-Inch, Tempered Glass Film, 3-Pack, which does not cover 100% to the edge of the screen, but I am still very pleased with it because it went on super clean with no air bubbles, and there is a great YouTube video that shows you had to apply it. Folks complained that their finger print recognition didn't work well with it on. But all you have to do is redo your fingerprint after the protector is applied. Read more

Has that sturdy feel of a higher end phone case that I love so much, also is very easy to install phone into the case and even easier to remove the phone from this case. This case does not effect any of the phones functionality while protecting the phone very well from drops, laying down on screen side/camera side and is an overall top ten lighter phone case. The only thing missing is a screen protector which would make the entire phone protected, especially the screen from scratches, dings, drops etc. I’ve been using the commuter series cases since my Galaxy S III, with a few defender series and lifeproof cases mixed in depending on the phone’s value of course. Overall it’s going to be hard to beat the value and protection of this case without going to a much heavier, bulkier and pricier case by far. Only problem I’ve ever had with the OtterBox cases is the flaps etc that cover the ports to keep out debris etc tend to wear out very quickly sometimes and break off. Read more

I’ve had my phone since 2020, and since then I’ve used two otter boxes. You could seriously throw your phone around and not worry about drop damage at all. The raised bumper of the case prevents the front screen from cracking, so I don’t really use a screen protector. It can add some weight to your phone though, and the case can be slippery, so it can be difficult to hold at times but not usually. I think that only happened in the beginning while the case was new. Another unfortunate thing about this case is that the flap covering the lightning port can bend and tear, and eventually rip off. The plastic toward the bottom had cracked as well. Other than that, it was still in great condition and these issues did not affect the cases’ ability to protect my phone. I recently switched from the Otterbox Defender to this Commuter case. I was skeptical as to how well it would hold up and protect my phone especially since it didn’t come with a screen protector but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The drop protection has held up just like the Defender but without the bulkiness or sticky rubber backing. This case is slim and easily slides into a pocket but the material is still easy to hold without being too slippery. The Commuter also has more color options than the Defender. The only downside is that if you want a screen protector you have to buy one separately, but that’s how most cases come anyways. Overall this is a great phone case and I would definitely buy again.
