I've actually purchased this case twice now. I tend to be very hard on phones because I constantly drop things, but this case is very protective. It fits well and looks cute. Make sure you put it on carefully and snap the hard layer into place - you may need to adjust the softer layer with your fingernails so that the hard layer fits snug. It is pretty intuitive and easy to put together. I had this case for a year and a half before I replaced it. I've had more troubles with the newer case - the bottom part near the lightening port immediately cracked, but this didn't affect the case's ability to protect my phone, so I'm not too worried. I'm also having a hard time pressing the buttons on the side of my phone. Overall, these are minor issues for me, and I'd much rather have this case than a case that isn't as protective. Read more

I purchased this case last week and it came a day late than expected, but now my iPhone 8 is firmly protected, which is what I’ve always needed. I may upgrade my phone in the next 3 or 4 years, but for now, need to preserve what I have. Update: The case started breaking down little by little about a month ago and now it is in the trash. I purchased this in November of 2022 and it lasted two months shy of a year. I suppose with me being a klutz more than usual it started to wear on the case, but I heard such good things about Otterbox that I thought it would last me for a long while. Read more

Slim and protects!

I love this series of phone cases. I seem to drop my phone regularly and this Otterbox series has always served me well. It’s still thin enough to fit easily in my pocket or wrist wallet. And it protects well for routine drops. I’m Feb I upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an 8 and needed a new case to match the new phone. I was delighted to find almost the same colored case for the new phone. NOTE: Over the years of using this series, I have cracked the hard plastic portion of the case in a few spots, which isn’t surprising due to my clumsiness. The case still worked fine. Evtually I’d replace it if the cracks affected my hands. I’d much rather buy a new case every 18-24 months vs having to replace a screen or phone because I had no physical protection on the phone. I do use a screen cover/shield. I will continue to buy this series as long as it is available. Read more
