This is the perfect amount of pressure! It seems soundly built and is easy to use. I am happy with the amount of pressure and rotation of the nodules. It is very relaxing too. I can use it all over my back, my legs and even my feet! The pillow has a tiny , clicking mechanical noise noise but with the TV on, you barely notice it. My back especially feels nice and loose after using! It is a little awkward to learn how to place it on your neck- stick with it- you won't be disappointed. This massager is really nice! I am 7 months and it relieves a lot of end of the day (and let’s be honest- around the clock) lower back pain. The heat feels so good and the kneading is perfect. The only thing that would make it 5 stars in my opinion would be a battery only option that doesn’t need a plug when you’re not near one and if the massage/ kneading element had more variations. I bought this almost two years ago and I’m just now getting around to writing a review. In a good way! I am purchasing this for friend and thought if I still regularly use it I should leave a review. The massage balls are hard, but for me it’s 10/10. I have shoulder knots and pain because of work, and using this before bed a couple times has done wonders for my pain. I don’t feel as stiff, and when relaxing with it I can hear the knots being massaged out of my shoulder muscles. My husband says it’s almost painful it’s so intense, but it’s perfect for me! Decent enough unit. Heating elements started failing after 3 months. Quality of the covering is poor at best, it began shredding at the seams at 6 months. There's zipper to remove the covering hidden under a flap that doesn't allow you to grasp it. The zipper also doesn't have a stop so if you try to push it out from the wrong side it falls into the unit. Read more

This is a solid neck massager for the price. As someone mentioned before putting a towel over it helps with the pressure. The towel also helps if you’re ticklish. I’ve used it a bunch so far and it’s definitely helping remove knots in my neck and upper back. My only critique is that I wish it came with a remote so I wouldn’t have to readjust every time I want to turn it on again (due to the auto shut off). Totally worth a try!
