I got these since I like Pentel’s other products. I typically don’t use 1.0mm pens for genral writing/note-taking but wanted some for signing checks and addressing envelopes, bought these and now I want to use them for everything since the ink is so smooth!! I love how the pen feels on paper, it glides so easily. I think I’ll try the other the sizes as well as I typically use 0.7 energel for my colorful stuff. Read more

The pen is great. Writes very nice and smooth. Almost a cross between a gel and a rollerball pen. I ordered the Bold 1.0mm point and that’s what is stated on the packaging I received but when I opened it to try the pen out it’s definitely not 1.0mm. On the pens themselves they say 08 and the line it makes is 0.8. I researched when the 1.0mm is supposed to look like on the barrel of the pen. It’s supposed to say Floatune 1.0. Mine does not. That’s a bit disappointing. I’ll return these and find them else where hopefully in store to make sure I get the ones I want. Read more
